Just popped into a Bug Hunt (Advanced) PUG, everybody on the time is working just fine and we clear out the first section of the bug critters. Then, we bring Lt. VanDerveer to the first wall to set his explosives, and...nothing. He should automatically move to the wall, set his charges and clear out the wall to continue the mission, but instead he just keeps following the player farthest back in the map (all of us are right next to the wall, nobody died or anything).
Moving around the area for a few minutes, and even going back to the beginning and back to the wall did not resolve the issue. A couple of us almost managed to jump over the rocks ourselves, but a series of invisible walls blocked us again.
Could not continue the mission at all, and we all had to beam out.

That happens when you start moving before the timer is done... So don't.
The boss being a gigantic Winter Epohh Researcher. As you lay waste to the Epohh Horde, she can occasionally cry out things like, "Didn't you want an Epohh friend?"

Nitpicking is a time-honored tradition of science fiction. Asking your readers not to worry about the "little things" is like asking a dog not to sniff at people's crotches. If there's something that appears to violate natural laws, then you can expect someone's going to point it out. That's just the way things are.
It is not so much the moving as the triggering and killing the first mob that prevents him from getting to his duty. Wait till the first alarm bug spawns before firing a shot.
