I have submitted three tickets in regard to this problem, through regular "Support" channels and in-game "Report a Bug" (which is, I think, a useless endeavor, since a ticket number was given, yet more than a week later, it shows I have no tickets), and so on.
The replies I have gotten? "We have verified the problem..." That was a step in the right direction! But, all followed by, "...there are multiple departments and levels of [blah, blah, blah]...in the meantime, thanks for your patience and understanding."
Well, guess what? STILL no fix; STILL no answer other than "verified;" and guess what else? On this end NO MORE PATIENCE!
1) IF indeed the problem is verified - and I have read at least 100+ posts about THIS SAME issue - and...
2) IF indeed the bug seems to be affecting only THIS console...
3) WHY has there been no fix to it?!
Doesn't seem to affect any other type of console, so it seems there ought to be some sort of paper, ion, particle, or whatever, trail!
I upgraded mine during the Upgrade Event from MK XII to MK III, and it was immediately unusable, telling me "You do not meet the minimum requirements for this item." However, all I was doing was putting it BACK into the same slot on the SAME ship!!
Well, I was level 50 then, level 55 now, and I'm getting the same garbage. Here's the thing: I ended up having to use my own resources to get it to MK XIII, because the upgrade kits, etc. didn't quite get it there. And, at this point, ALL of my other gear (save for the MK XII prefire chamber I had to go to the EX to BUY in order to stay within the realm of DPS I should have) is either MK XIV or 'Epic' now. So, if I don't meet the requirements for that console, why do I meet them for anything and everything else?!
In the forums, I have read that some folks were having problems even upgrading lower-level Prefire Chambers; I think the one I recall most vividly was a MK VIII to a MK IX by a Captain-level character. Suddenly, that character "no longer "met" the requirements either.
There are a LOT of bugs you all need to address since the release of DR, but some that NEVER existed UNTIL its release!
This particular one is getting rather irksome but, more to the point, so is your so-called "customer service!" If you have no idea, SAY you have no idea; don't tell us the problem is verified and acknowledged. And if it is "verified and acknowledged," what are you doing about it?
Seriously, is Dan Stahl back with you guys? Because the level of communication with your playing AND PAYING customers that seemed to be improving for while now seems to have taken a serious downturn! :mad:
