Well, gave it 3 months and took 4 toons to level 50+, but I just cancelled my subscription.
Why?
A game is supposed to be fun. I'm willing to pay (even with PWE/Cryptics's high charges for what you get) in order to play an enjoyable game. Since Delta Rising I've run into bug after bug, all of which detract from the game's playability and enjoyability. I have 2 toons that need to speak to both the Base Commander on Nukara Prime and do the final New Romulus mission for the respective Tier 5 rep awards. Neither can be completed as the game CTDs on beam down to Nukara Prime and whenever you reach a certain point in the underground ruins on New Romulus. Dozens of crash reports and clear explanations have got the feedback of (to paraphrase) "something is wrong".
What?
"Something is wrong"? No hints or tips as to what it might be (although tbh I'd explained in extensive feedback the various steps I'd tried having trawled though the bug report forum for possible explanations or fixes).
Then there's the HUD situation. The HUD looks fine when my JHDC is active, but switch to the mirror universe patrol escort and I've got trays overlapping each other. Ofc, if you move them, then that screws up the HUD when you switch back to the JHDC.
The loadout problem is perhaps the most annoying of all. Doesn't matter how often you save it, every time you zone or log in the icons have moved, or been replaced, or ones you don't even want have been added to the trays.
TL;DR - the multitude of bugs post DR have, for me, made playing this game an exercise in frustration and annoyance rather than enjoyability. Got a month before my subscription expires to see if things improve, but the way PWE/Cryptic seem to be prepared to ignore their paying customers, I doubt they'll be getting any more money off me.

But it is the best patch ever a few bugs, expensive research and upgrade system and thats all, OH yeah a very low Skill Point system and a Advanced modus thats impossible unless your a top DPS guy !!!
Well maybe this DR thing is not so great then... I love the story line !!!

Well most people would not play a game if they didn't have any fun. Seriously if this game was no longer fun for you, neither would you log in nor would you bother to post threads. You can criticize, you can make suggestions but don't post such nonsense.

system Lord Baal is dead
1.) Rollback on dilithium earning primarily by cuts and increases in difficulty.
2.) Increasing the cost for the 'best' gear.
3.) Making (by action) my gear of three years effort no longer elite.
4.) Then when I use a KNOWN method for gaining XP, call me an exploiter.
I don't mind the long-TRIBBLE grind. I don't mind a year to get R&D up to a level where I can upgrade my gear.
I do mind that my friends list is shrinking. And it's not my breath that's this issue.
1.) Cryptic issues information poorly. Sometimes it changes it's mind and in the process appears to LIE.
2.) The game is inconsistent. One man's Borg cube is another Borg Probe. It's a joke.
3.) The Producers blame the player base for their inability to anticipate problems. YAY QA!
I love STO. I love the IP. Will always be a trekker.
But if a game came along that allowed me to build ships that look like the Fed or KDF - my wallet would walk.

Oh just stop with the rosy colored glasses. Launch of LoR was a debacle. Least this patch mostly worked. Just players didn't like the changes.
