    Humans from Warhammer 40K.

    1) They are all psychotically xenophobic.
    2) They worship someone who is not dead yet not alive.
    3) They kill each other to prove their purity and adherence to the false religion they have created around someone who did not view himself as a god when in fact he was.
    4) They tolerate a sect within their ranks who worship machinery as if it was sentient.
    5) Their ships! Eeeeww! 'Nuff said.
    6) They tolerate sects of mutants who serve the continuation of their Empire, yet they profess to hate mutants.
    7) Their heroes are all genetically modified so much so as to be as nearly inhuman as possible, yet they profess a devotion to the purity and sanctity of the human genome.
    8) They have really silly ground combat rules where two Space Marines can take on an army of enemies and somehow win.
A six year old boy and his starship. Living the dream.

    Whatever the hell Yoda is.

Morgut from the Sirantha Jax novels. They think humanoids are crunchy and good with ketchup.

    Elder gods. Too OP.

    Female Saurians with TRIBBLE.

I saw one (somebody's boff) running around the Voth BZ the other day with bust slider maxed. I had dry heaves for a solid hour.

This is why I want more non-humanoid options for the character creator...I want to be able to create an anatomically accurate lizard woman. No TRIBBLE. No sexualized pose. Just snout, tail, scales.

Limits of the game, I guess.

Hardly a problem unique to STO.

The Shadows, the Vorlons, and the 'First Ones'....

Those races will make the Borg, Undine, and Iconians look like harmless ants in comparison. The entire galaxy would be conquered in about a week. Thankfully crossovers don't happen in STO...
The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

    The aliens from E. T.

Seriously, a race of interstellar-capable beings that can be frightened into abandoning a crew member when threatened by flashlights?

Maybe not 'anatomically accurate', but TRIBBLE yeah, one of the most beautiful :o

Daleks. Insanely OP except when Plot says they're defeated, instakilled by the presence of that guy who's got a bunch of characters that look like incarnations of the Doctor, cannot climb stairs until level 10 where they get levitation, have no diplomatic options, kill everything they meet while yelling EXTERMINATE!!!, and automatically draw all aggro from everything in space and ground maps. Plus they have their own faction that has one mission ("EXTERMINATE NON-DALEKS!!!!!") that you repeat over and over, and they can't cross-faction team for anything, even PVE queues.

And the character customization is...minimal. To put it nicely.

    EXPLAIN!?!

    ...Oh, wait, you did.

Also, we should not have a platoon of Judoon on the Moon. That would be troublesome.

    Kryptonians, depending on solar conditions.
Aliens. The kind that violate your throat and explode out your chest. Those are icky.
Whatever E.T. was. That kid can't properly pilot a starship, drinks you booze, and runs up your long distance bill.

Goa'uld... though the Trill would make excellent Hosts... hmmm... unless they already are? Never mind. Hail Ba'al! <hides>

With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.

Vastra is OMFG so beautiful. In an artistic sense as well as an "I'd tap that" sense.

Yeah, she is just absolutely stunning (although Zhaan is still my Number One <3<3 )

I think Strax is awesome myself. So much so that I named my Hierarchy sci/intel boff Strax in his honor.:D

Yeah, Strax is a badass, and a name fit for a Vulcan... Nothing compared to Zhaan and Vastra for pure beauty though

    Vastra's look is just amazing.

Whoever did her makeup design, I want that person to do, like, every makeup design ever. It would be epic.

Newtypes/Coordinators/Innovators/X-Rounders/etc. Super awesome OP pilots, but they'd probably spend five missions angsting about killing that one commander.

Definitely the work of a Master for sure. I'm also rather impressed by the makeup work in Defiance... I wonder how close the character generator would allow someone to get to a Silurian... A Sontaran or Brikar might even be possible

Or an Indogene or Castithan, for that matter

Hahaha you too eh? I made mine look as much like him as I could, too. Fitting since both species are potatoes according to two Doctors.

Also Vastra love~ oh so much.

Get me pictures and I will tell you.

Sontaran and Silurian I already know, but I need a picture or description ref for Brikar and the other two.

Here you go... I suspect the Castis would be pretty easy, but the texturing for the Indogene may be more difficult as it's so specific... Same for the Brikar, but I'm thinking that there will be options to get something close

    Castithans

    Indogene females

    A Brikar

    Original Brikar artwork

First couple are doable, Brikar are tough because of the angles. Lemme see what I can do.

Awesome :D I wondered if the angles might be the issue, but would definitely be cool to see what you can come up with
