Shazam is set for over 4 years from now? I thought they just picked the Rock to play the villain?
I'm puzzled by the Flash movie just over 3 years from now. Unless they intend to move the new TV show to the big screen, that seem in conflict with said TV show.
I am interested in them getting a good Green Lantern movie but it seems a long ways off.
Frankly this seems a little weirdly laid out. Maybe I've just downed too much of the Marvel koolaid, but it seems a stronger gameplan to introduce all your characters first, then have the superteam movie.
I really liked what Paul Dini, Bruce Timm, and company did with the DC heroes a decade ago. I just am not sure this is the live action version of that effort.
Lego Batman. That's the only movie on that list that gets me even a little bit excited.

Marvel has been cranking out movies like crazy, that also happen to be good to awesome, so I hope DC can do the same. The more quality superhero movies the better! Nerdvana!
Having grown up watching the "Super Friends" in the JLA, this news has me excited. I hope they can pull it off and give us some quality flicks. The Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern was such a let down so we'll see.
Really? Spin off the Lego Batman into his own movie?
If they are smart, 90% of the movie will be spoofing / riffing the Christopher Nolan / Christian Bale / Dark Knight trilogy. There is so much potential for awesome right there.

Nope. They are too stuck on gritty and dark tones. Didn't like Man of Steel, and while I'll likely see them, I'm not expecting anything good. Marvel is good because Marvel is in control. DC is not in control, and Warners doesn't care about the source material other than as a brand name. It's like expecting anything Fox does with the Marvel rights to be true to the characters, which thus far, (even with all the flare and special effects), they haven't done.

The Dark Knight series is already dated, so any sort of spoof would just be irrelevant, especially since Batleck is now "canon".
Plus, is it really going to be funny when all the jokes have been already said and done? "Grrrruuuuue, scary voice, I can't understand Bane, Joker is weird, I crashed dat train!"
"A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP"

They've stated that the TV universes are their own separate timelines for fun. The "canon" is gonna be the cinematic universe.
I have absolutely no interest in the DC universe now.
I'm binge watching Arrow now, watching Gotham as it happens, and I'll get to Flash soon. They seem to be going really well but the decision not to tie them to the films is frankly stupid :sceptic:.
If MoS has set the tone for the future, it looks dull, the early concepts for BvS (art and plot summaries) seem to follow the same dull tone as MoS.
It's a shame, because I really enjoyed the Dark Knight Trilogy and am really enjoying Arrow.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

'...I can tell you that we're not in the military and that we intend no harm to the whales.' Kirk: The Voyage Home
'Starfleet is not a military organisation. Its purpose is exploration.' Picard: Peak Performance
'This is clearly a military operation. Is that what we are now? Because I thought we were explorers!' Scotty: Into Darkness
'...The Federation. Starfleet. We're not a military agency.' Scotty: Beyond
'I'm not a soldier anymore. I'm an engineer.' Miles O'Brien: Empok Nor
'...Starfleet could use you... It's a peacekeeping and humanitarian armada...' Admiral Pike: Star Trek
Seperating the movie universe to be from the current blooming Arrow/Flash series universe seems like a massive chance wasted. Beaten into submission by Marvel before even starting :P

Dirty Laundry .
Also technically Warzone with Ray Stevenson. (Reboot or sloppy sequel is up in the air, see Ghost Rider).
