All of my characters appear to have access to crafting traits as long as their crafting skill is greater than 0 in each respective specialization.
For example: I have a character with the Penetrating Rounds Trait unlocked despite only having a Ground Weapons skill of 3.
I "noticed" this after hitting 15 in shields on my KDF Sci today, but this 'issue' exists across all of my characters. I would appreciate confirmation from other players to figure out if this is a global issue or something wacky with reaching 15 in a crafting skill after the update.
I'm seeing this bug too - I've just selected the 'particle manipulator' trait on my toon, even though I don't have tier 15 in any of the crafting schools yet.
It's global and was apparently reported during testing in tribble. So naturally they didn't fix it.
Yep. That was me who reported it. Not surprised they didn't fix it. In fact, I was expecting it to go live like all the other ****ing bugs that were reported. :mad:
