Why do NPCs and torpedos continue to follow after you cloak? Granted, if the npcs sensor scan was strong enough to see me they would also be attacking me but they are not. Is this a game mechanic limitation or a bug?
Seems to be working as intended. The devs have always said the hit and miss chance is checked at launch so unless its a destructible torp which is killed en route it will always hit.
Projectiles continue to hit because the roll was made as mentioned before you cloaked. Don't forget that cloak is not instant.
As for NPCs following you - that's tied into how Cryptic handles threat from mobs tied into threat perception and perception. Even if they can "see" you, they should not attack you unless they can actually see you.
