Upon upgrading the above mentioned item at the start of the upgrade event, only one stat changed, and a minor change at that. After having to dish out nearly 8k dilithium and 4+ million EC to craft and apply this upgrade, only one stat out of four changed. I hope this oversight can be addressed or correct in the next patch prior to the release of DR.
So according to the description, the only thing that the warp core itself does is increase the engine and aux maximum level by 5 (a fixed amount, not subject to Mk level), and provide an efficiency bonus to both pools. Everything else is granted by the [???] mods. If I were to upgrade it, the only change I can really expect is an increase in that efficiency bonus to both pools (unless it too is a fixed amount), because everything else is tied to the [???] mods. I guess the other things tied to Mk are the Maximum Warp Factor, and it seems even the mods like [Eff] might get a boost.
If upgrading an item's mark increased the value of the [???] mods, then we should see [CritH], [Acc], [CritD] etc mods see an increase in value also.
