Catphone: In-game chat channel.

The Catphone in-game chat channels seeks to provide a place for all Caitian and Ferasan players to hang out and play STO together. We often team up for missions or help each other out in others' various needs. The only requirement is a visual confirmation that you have at least one Caitian or Ferasan player and then you are good to go

The channel is invite only. You will need to post your handle here or mail it to me in-game so we can meet up there.

There are channel rules. This is intended to be a family channel.


No excessive or incredibly foul swearing. A simple d*m or h*ll is fine every now and then, but the rest, just no.

No sexually explicit content or explicit URL links are allowed.

Harassment of any kind towards catphone members or other players will not be tolerated.

Religious or political discussions which could lead to major arguments are asked to not be spoken about.


This should be everything. Hope to see any newcomers in-game!

    This actually sounds like an interesting idea, I'll have to remember for when I log back in.

    I have a Fed Kitty, I should get round to creating a Klingon one too. So we just hop on this channel called Catphone (?) with our heroic feline and meow down the line with instructions to find what part of ESD I am currently using as a scratching pole? ;)

    :eek: You want to what...where...that's not natural!!! I think Admiral Quinn might have something to say about that! :D

    CatPhone is a good place to hang out, we also have a couple of talented foundry authors and forum regulars hang out there, so there is a wealth of advice on tap for many areas of the game.

    I can also endorse this channel. I've been using the CatPhone since the fall 2012 when I made my first Ferasan character and it's always been a nice place to chat with likeminded individuals, share knowledge and info about the game, keep up to speed with happeining in STO, get help if you need or just the plain old teaming to do content with someone. It's also crossfaction so you can help on both sides of the game.

    If you happen to have at least one Caitian or Ferasan character on your account, you're wellcomed to join and if you don't have one......well it's about time to get one!! :D

    The cannel is CatPhone, however it's invite based so you won't be able to join yourself. If you're interested the best thing to do is send an in-game mail to @ashkrik23 and he'll hook you up.

    Ah yes, I forgot to say it was invite only. I'll update the main post. Send me a mail with your character and handle name and we can meet up in-game for the invite.

    I have never seen you furries be able to stop being sexual degenerates for longer then 30 seconds, so I bet this rule wont last long.

    I am not a furry. Also, not everyone who is one is a sicko like those who spam TRIBBLE all over art websites.

    Every fandom has its sickos. If we end up with one of those in catphone, they are swiftly dealt with. If you continue to generalize because of the few bad eggs, well.. more power to you...

    Except that no one in the channel is a furry (or at least, I have never seen one). We've had incidents with some sicko stuff in the past, and it got eliminated real fast.

    Case in point, me. I hate even the very concept of roleplaying, I refuse to roleplay, and refuse to associate with roleplayers for the most part. The reason all of my characters are cats is because of their sheer superiourity in ground combat.
