We have always needed a Fleet Pig Carrier - it will be one of the few STANDARD KDF ships w/o a fleet counterpart and will be left languishing w/o a decent T-5u variant, simply because of that fact.
This ship is hands-down my fave Flight Deck Carrier. It is fugly but it tanks like a TRIBBLE and can bring the pain if need be. It's fugly but fun. It was also a C-Store ship that has no fleet variant for some reason. In any case, they need a fleet version.
I'd love to see both Feet Marauders and fleet Dacoits. My Orion Eng salivates at the thought.
I think its unlikely for both though. For one, the Marauder was given away as a freebie some time ago, meaning a vast chunk of the player base could upgrade for just one FSM.
As for the Dacoit? I doubt many people (outside of this thread) would spend 2,000 zen on a ship for one character which will inevitably be replaced by an account wide T6 purchase down the line. Given the infrequency of KDF ship releases that could be some time though.
Of the two, the Marauder is more likely imo. Maybe theyll rely on all of us who got it as a freebie splashing out 500 zen for an FSM on impulse (it sure makes a lot more sense than shelling out 2,000).
The exiting T3 Dacoit still sells well I think because it grants access to the incredible Orion Interceptor pets, which would reduce the number of people willing to shell out for the T5 version.
Dont get me wrong, Id love to see it. But especially for the Dacoit I just dont see it happening. Roll on a T6 Orion Warbarge though.

I find this absurd. FEDs keep getting brand new shiny ships every couple of months, yet the KDF can't even get something that already exists model-wise. I mean, how hard can it be to add a new ship that uses an existing and perfectly functional ship model? In many cases it's just a matter of adding a console slot and buffing the stats by 10%.

The size of this list astounds me: I get that they would want to "slowly" release Fleet versions of KDF ships so they can say "See?!?! Content!!!!", but this is absurd. Many of those are no-brainers. And seriously; how hard is it to make a fleet version? On KDF ships, are there any additional visualizations!?!?!

The opposite is also true, where we have T5 Fleet ships with no T5 C-Store variant available... meaning that for the Fleet ships we do have we spend more Fleet Ship Modules. Yay.
That's one point our Roms still have an edge on, though they seem to be getting similar treatment as far as new ships lately...

I have also been waiting for the Fleet Marauder myself. Bought the Marauder a while before they did the giveaway for it and since they announced the fleet ships I have been patiently waiting for the Fleet version to get released. Even been sitting here with my FSM for it on my main KDF toon all to no avail. Now that the T5-U and T6 ships are almost here we will probably not be seeing any new T5 Fleet ships released. Here's hoping to seeing a T6 Orion ship in the near future.

There's many KDF ships out there that you can count yourself extremely lucky if there's an alternate visualizations for your ship at all, even if it's something TRIBBLE like merely changing 1 component. The Gorn, Nausicaan, Orion ships are notorious for lack of customization.
Oh, and with the lack of endgame C-Store ships, this meant that KDF players had to fork out more than their Fed & Rom counterparts to get their ships. 4 FSM purchases for Fleet Ships is a regular thing, but a KDF player has no choice. Either that or fly Lockbox / Lobi ships.
Tac oriented Dacoit refit and fleet marauder with t5u option would be welcome additions, love my FDCs.
Problem is I've solved this problem already, I am lucky enough to own a Bulwark.
Can be essentially configured like a Marauder, Fleet Corsair or an imaginary tac Dacoit with LTC tac seat. So I get to play an FDC how I like it, when I like it just by changing uni boff seats.
With a free t5u upgrade, it's essentially my perfect ship atm.
Unfortunately they're probably rarer than bugs to acquire. So not a solution for most people. If you get the chance though, grab one asap.
The bastion is a decent and far more "affordable" 2nd option, boff seats can be configured like fleet corsair but you can't quite get it the same as a marauder layout, but pretty darn close. Worth looking into as well, especially if you want to have some more tac seats for an imaginary Dacoit build.

Not only do Feds get a shiny new ship every couple months, they get refits, retrofits and fleet variants of every ship. I said it in a few other threads that the KDF is not a Federation of Klingons, Orions, Gorn, Nausicaan and Letheans. They are not issued Klingon ships to fly around in to support the KDF, the KDF would expect that these other races bring ships to support the efforts of the KDF.
For this reason the other racial ships need to nearly equal the Klingon ship options.

I'd take a Marauder if I had to, but given a choice I'd wave my wand and make a Fleet Dacoit, that is a fine-looking ship.
If I could just get the goofy "ears" off the front of the ship, maybe the Marauder could work, but as it is I consider it the most unappealing-looking ship in the KDF, and I say this having intentionally looked at the Hoh'sus recently (mind you, through a hole poked in a piece of cardboard; I'm crazy but I'm not stupid).

I'm sure your DPS is great, but as Kahless said, "a petaQ with high system mastery is still a petaQ." (Well, he should have said it...!)

I'm not a fan of the Guinea-Pig.
Functionally, it works. Aesthetically, not so much.
Personally, I'd rather see a Fleet Dacoit.
That said, I'd support a Fleet Guinea-Pig.
I'm always for more options. Always.

The Dacoit is one sexy looking ship, I'd love to have a fleet variant of that one as well. To me it's the best looking of the Orion ships.
Same here a fleet Dacoit would be awesome!

They've promissed Fleet Guramba more than a year ago. "It's coming", Geko's said.
Yet now we keep hearing that they'd "wish" to release the ship, but "there are no plans at the moment".
So you can imagine how they'd handle any other missing KDF Fleet ship with such attitude...
Not to mention, the list of possible, yet missing KDF Fleet ships is huge.
Fleet Dacoit Flight-Deck Cruiser
Fleet Draguas Support Vessel
Fleet Phalanx Science Vessel
Fleet Vandal Destroyer
Fleet K'Tanco Battle Cruiser
Fleet Pach/Puyjaq Raptor
Fleet Qorgh/SuQob Raptor
Fleet Ki'tang/Ch'Tang Bird-of-Prey
Fleet Hegh'ta Heavy Bird-of-Prey
Fleet Marauder Flight-Deck Cruiser
Fleet Guramba Siege Destroyer

You cannot play any ship with the Qaw'Dun BOP skin outside of T2.
You can add that to the list.

The Marauder looks more like a Giant Space Hamster to me
It even has the floopy ears!
