Any mention of 60 freebee's

So up to level 40 you basically get a free upgrade to a ship thats slightly less amazing than what you can either get via cash or via cash ( seeing how cash shop ships/ Lock box ships/ and fleet ships are basically cash ships) Have they mentioned if there was going to be any available "not as special" type ships available for selection as base 60 options?

We should get one Free T6 Intel ship or it over for use FTPers .

-take out Anti-troll gun that has a 360 arc with no blind spot teck- That should do for the trolls here now and the ones that are coming.

I have a hunch that there will be a t6 starship with an ensign Intel boff slot for free at lvl 60. the trait will be mediocre and it will be a cruiser for the fed. A carrier for the kdf and a double d look alike for the romulans.


But that's just a hunch

They haven't announced any 60 ships...all the ships announced are 50 ships that level with you as far as scaling HP; but they're still 50 ships.

If you want a "free" FT5-U ship, then one need not look any further than Winter/Summer Event ships which are receiving a free T5-U upgrade and were "free" ships to acquire. There's going to be another Winter Event coming up soon if folks missed out on the previous events.

Nothing on lvl 60 ships. Besides, wouldn't they be considered T6.5?

not this thread again, it has already been discussed a few times and the only mention of free ships is from hopeful players, as far as I can see there will be no free ship for level 50, levelling to 60 or anywhere in between, as has been hypothesised by players.

I suppose it doesnt hurt to be hopeful, one of my buddies is hopeful they will give away the DR starter pack on the next C-store give away,

Because we didn't need a free ship at 50 when we just got our T5 at 40 now with T6, should come with a free T6 at 50(or 55). I say that shouldn't mean a event grind ship .

You can keep saying 'coz we should' all you like, it won't make it so... So far there have been no indications there will be a free T5U upgrade available, let alone a free T6 - if anything, indications so far are that there will definitely not be a freebie...

Since you get a free ship at level 40, but not at 50, my guess would be, if anything, you would get a free ship at 50, and NOT at 60,... post DR. However, no one has specified anything dealing with that to the best of my knowledge.

Lvl 50 ships 10 console fleet zen or lockbox are only usable by lvl 50 players so i ask again why do u think u will get a lvl 60 ship free when u dont get a lvl 50

this thread is starting to look like a clone of the last one, same posters with the same lame reasons they think we are entitled to a free T6.

well reality check boys and girls, we aint entitled to anything, we get what the devs give us and have to be grateful for that, you get to upgrade to T5u at lv50 even get it free on some ships that's it, don't go looking for more cos you wont find it.

you didn't believe all that pony about them giving us T5u because of all we invested in our ships did you, they gave us T5u so they could keep T6 for the C-store.

With 8 new C-Store ships and several new Lobi ships coming in a new Lockbox a free T6 ship with DR seems highly unlikely - especially with the Winter Event and Anniversary being a month after DR. If anything they would hold back a free T6 for the Anniversary Event.

The missions are awesome! Coming from someone playing Tribble I won't drop any spoilers, though. The missions are shaping up to be some of Cryptic's best work!

Now for the ships, its the exact same story to Level 50, Fleet ships and C-Store are the best products, and to some extent, work in tandem with eachother. Its how it's always worked, and no reason to change that now, so they will run it that way. You didn't get a free T-5 upon reaching 50, they made you stay with the ship you got at level 40. Now I have a feeling that upon reaching level 50, they will provide a couple of ships, though I don't know for sure since all my characters on Tribble were moved on starting at level 50.

Though we shall see!

At Level 55, Gold Members apparently receive an additional skill respec. Couldn't test it on Tribble since my toon is busted, but it currently exists.

I could see LTS players getting a token for one Intel ship of their choice. Beyond that don't expect anything.

I said this in your thread, and I'll say it in this one too. In the extremely remote chance that we get a free T6 ship, the odds are even more remote that it will be an intel ship. :rolleyes:

so how do you think it works if your already lv50 you don't get a ship but if you are below lv50 and reach lv50 after DR you get a ship, no it don't work like that, the reason you never got a free ship with a lv50 character was there was no ship to get.

what you do get at lv50 is the ability to upgrade a T5 ship to T5u, that's it fanito.

don't you think that if there had been any chance they were going to give everyone a T6 ship they would have released that information long ago to excite existing current players and maybe got some lapsed players to return?

no I have said it before and I will say it again there will be no free ship at lv50, no free ship at lv55 or lv60 no free T6 ships full stop.

not even for gold players.

the only way anyone is going to get a T6 ship is to buy one from the C-store and I expect it to be like that for a very long time to come.

I'd expect something at level 50 because I don't think that the ships we got at level 40 probably aren't going to cut it with the new content. That said, I'm not particularly worried, because my only character in that position's going to switch to the Risian Luxary Cruiser, which gets a free upgrade to 5U.
I see it as a problem for characters as they pass 50, but given how often we get free T5 ships, not a particularly horrible one.

indeed seeing as they bring out a new event ship at least twice a year getting a T5 to upgrade wont be a problem, I am sure the ship you get at level 40 will be fine through most of the DR content anyhow, it will just take a few more seconds to knock out the bad guy.

any problems players have getting a T5 ship to upgrade will pale in comparison to the ones cryptic face trying to sell T5 ships on the C-store and I predict a sudden lack of sales once DR launches, if there isn't one already.
who in their right mind would pay money or zen to buy a ship only to have to pay again to upgrade it?
now instead of paying $20 for a ship you are paying $25-$30 for basically the same ship, that's one ell of a price increase, and selling ship packs even more so.
the dyson 9 ship maga pack jumps from $100 to $145-$190 unless I read it wrong.

It's been said time, and time, and time again that basic T5 (level 40 freebie) will be adequate for all but the hardest (level 60 Elite STF's) of Delta Rising content...

Indications from Tribble however even suggest that basic T5 appropriately geared, and with a capable Captain, are indeed adequate for even level 60 Elites..

imho cryptic wont give us anything worth having for free they are all about money grabs
so until cryptic releases an official announcement stating there will be a free t-6 ship at 60

indeed, some people cant help hopping for the best and it usually ends in tears.
I tend to expect the worst and am often correct though every now and then I get a pleasant supprise, I really really don't think I will be supprised this time, I just don't.

I really think if there were any free ships coming in DR crytic would have told us by now.
