I met Garrett Wang!

maxwilsonmaxwilson Member Posts: 61 Arc User
I went to Wizard World in Richmond, because I live there. Just to meet Garrett. He's the nicest guy ever, and really funny. We talked for a good couple of hours. He's really looking forward to recording his lines for the game next week.

Here's a pic of him and I.

    Never heard of him?
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

    Really? You aren't sure?

Look I know we aren't friends or anything, but you've seen my posts often enough to know better.

True, but there's always the chance for the opposite to occur.

You know, when you pick up a Reward box... For example an RnD box... You are "outside" that box...

I know the concept is confusing, but over time, it gets more reasonable but still somewhat of a mystery.

Who bothers with R&D Reward Boxes?

Thanks for sharing your really cool meet&greet OP.

There's this big door in the front of your house. If you walk through it, you'll be in an area with very poor climate control, and about half the time there's this big glaring light overhead.

I went outside once. The graphics really are pretty good, and the physics engine is outstanding, but the gameplay sucks. Controls are hard to learn, and while a lot of people will try to tell you where to go, most of them aren't actually quest-givers or mission contacts.

I killed a lode of NPC and got no loot, plus the food drops from 'em tasted like raw meat, Outside doesn't look like it's seen a patch in years, I think I'll stick ingame for now.

Good job, you lucky dog! :)
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

I met William Shatter twice this year. Once was outside of his hotel and when I told my wife who it was she got so excited and started yelling to him in his car. He was so freaked by her he was afraid to get out. I told her afterwards "That man single handily fought a gorn, but he's afraid of you."

Its a badly made holonovel. There is a lot of bad colors, no lag (unheard of, but it happens). People dont take kindly to you when you say "Beam me up. "

or when you stand in the middle of the road yelling for the archway to get out of the holodeck.

All in all, its a bad place, to be avoided at all costs. One good thing that counts..

    Pizza.

    The rest is debatable.
