Tried to purchase Zen via the website using my credit card which i KNOW is valid/has enough available credit on it to make the purchase ($20) and website comes back 15 mins later saying declined because " my card failed to process the authorization request in time"..... but then i had to wait 7 days for the $20 to fall off my credit card's available credit balance because it had already been placed in the Processing phase.... so basicly i lost out on $20 of available credit ( which i was trying to spend on zen) for a week because your website billing is buggy.
If your Credit Card transaction did not go through it is for one of three reasons:
1: You are at your balance maximum and cannot charge more.
2: Your Credit Card company will not authorize the transaction as they feel it is fraudulent.
3: Skrill will not authorize the transaction as they feel it is fraudulent.
For #2 you need to contact your Credit Card company and manually approve the transaction with that company. That is why it stayed on your account as pending for so long: they were waiting for you to contact your CC company and approve it.
For #3 Skrill would contact you via email and asked for identity verification information before they would approve the transaction.
Both #2 and #3 are there for your protection. Credit Card fraud in the gaming industry is a huge issue and both your Credit Card company and Skrill are trying to protect you from someone who might have stolen your CC number are are using it against your will.
What I suggest you do is shoot for #2, if you did not get an email from Skrill. Contact your Credit Card company and tell them you want them to approve all future transaction with PWE/Skrill so that you can buy Zen. That verifies to them that it is not a fraudulent transaction.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
I would call your credit card company about why the transaction failed to be processed.
It is possible that whatever anti-fraud program they are using could have flagged the transaction as a false-positive meaning the system assumed it was an actual fraudulent use of your credit card. This would be especially true if this is your 1st attempt to purchase Zen.
The reason why it is a possible false-positive is because if your credit card info was actually stolen, the person will attempt to make small seemingly innocuous and your attempt to purchase could have been incorrectly identified as such.
For example, last year I went to Babies 'R Us to purchase a gift certificate with my American Express card for my cousin who just had a baby. The transaction was immediately flagged and I received an e-mail from AMEX that wanted me to confirm that the transaction was authentic. This attempt to use my credit card came up as a false-positive because it was the first time I have ever used it at a Babies 'R Us store and because I was attempting to purchase a gift certificate in gross excess of $100.
