...talking to players is like being a mall Santa. Everyone immediately wants to tell you all of the things they want, and you are absolutely powerless to deliver 99% of them.
I think it looks phenomenal (and it's my first time realizing that Suricata has actually been hired by Cryptic - congratulations!).
This makes me look forward to seeing more MSDs in the future, though what I'm hoping for is seeing Cryptic-original MSDs. Like, for the Odyssey-class, or if a new bridge would've been released for - say - the Guardian cruiser (not likely, but an example).
I'm saying this lightly, though. I have no idea just how much work it entails to create an MSD, especially if one would be built from scratch.

I'd love to see an Odyssey MSD wallpaper, or some of the more exotic-looking ships like the Imperial-class.
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
Explore each level of the ship and find out where all the most memorably locations are found, and don't forget where corridors and turbolifts might take you. You never know if this information might come in handy in the not too distant future.
Will the Voyager bridge be available on the T4 Long Range Science Vessel, or just the T5 Retrofit version?
They haven't officially confirmed anything, but I would assume there will be some kind of bundle with the Voyager interior, similar to the DS9 and TOS bundles.
The Belfast and TOS interiors can be used with any ship once you've purchased them, so I would assume/hope the same would be true in this case.
...talking to players is like being a mall Santa. Everyone immediately wants to tell you all of the things they want, and you are absolutely powerless to deliver 99% of them.
Yeay, this looks like a fine MSD
If not optional will look silly if the upcoming interior is used on other ships than the Intrepid class.
The twisted part: You guys release very specialized, ship specific, interiors (which in itself is a very good thing if it where not for the gap between two releases) and then complain that not enough ppl. buy it.
The aerowing shuttle, the auxilliary warp core... Things you never really knew were actually there when watching the show. How many tasks would have been soooo much easier if they remembered that they had such things? We ejected our warp core? No problem! Activate the auxilliary one! I wonder if some of these features will make it into the game.
Any chance we can have the wallpapers in high resolution? The current options are all below my desktop resolution. Also thats a wallpaper that needs to be animated would be amazing.
The entire Navigational Deflector area was revamped to better represent the actual shape of that part of the ship. Since the ship has been refitted and Slipstream drive made practically standard on many ships, the small additional deflector was added to assist with maintaining the slipstream field.

I like to look at it this way, when the ship got stranded in the Delta quadrant it was heavily damaged and as such things like the Auxiliary warp core and Aerowing were stripped for parts to get the primary systems running. So while;st there may of been a spare warp core on the ship, it was most likely cannibalized of so many parts that it was inoperable.

Voyager was also heavily modified/partially assimilated with Seven of Nine's augmentations after the events of Scorpion. Not to mention Neelix's kitchen. I forget what other modifications Voyager went through on her journey, but they were enough that she wouldn't pass inspection.
In addition, Voyager also had a higher crew compliment as a result of incorporating the surviving crew from the Equinox. The ship has a finite amount of space, so it stands to reason that there were a lot of orders for engineering to start rearranging the decks and possibly in some cases remove areas like the Auxiliary warp core (or whatever) to make room for some other work station, since that work station was moved to make room for more crew quarters or Seven of Nine and Icheb's borg regeneration alcoves or whatever.
Sacrifices would have had to have been made to accomodate the unique crew compliment (Voyager's staff, the Maquis, and Equinox's survivors, and the liberated borg children).
Judging by the MSD, it supports my headcanon theory that Voyager was gutted when she returned home -- all technology packed up and reverse-engineered to be sent out to the rest of Starfleet.
Then renovated/refitted to the current Starfleet Intrepid-class standard. Which explains why there's now an Officer's Mess instead of Neelix's kitchen on the MSD -- it was converted back to its original function after Endgame.
That would also make things like your Delta Flyer addition to be part of the 'new' standard for the Intrepid-class, since it's mentioned the Delta-class Shuttle was introduced later. Since it obviously wasn't part of Voyager's 'factory condition' in the series.
I want to thank everyone who has worked on this MSD, and the voyager interior in general. It all looks amazing, and it wouldn't have been the same without this MSD. when I mentioned the need for a MSD in the intrepid interior thread and taco answered that they'd try and look in to it I was exited but after so long without any news I started to doubt it would happen, thank you for proving me wrong.
Also a tier 6 or maybe just a tier 5 u tactical Intrepid would be really cool to see, given the fact that voyager was not at all a science ship when she launched more like a high speed tactical ship from what we heard. Anyway keep up the good work, and the voyager bundle will be a day one purchase for me.
The Aerowing shuttle was just another one of those captain's yachts that we never got a chance to see.
I would love to see the Aerowing shuttle make it into game, and be retroactively granted to us Intrepid owners.
Also, I was wondering since the interior of the intrepid is actually going to be like it's supposed to be, should be be expecting to see a C-store bridge pack for the Intrepid owners.
I have really been trying to get the authentic Voyager look for my science toon and would love to have access to the bridge of the actual intrepid class.

The Aeroshuttle is basically a runabout with wings. It probably would have served the same purpose as the Delta Flyer
The argument could probably be made that the reason the Delta Flyer was constructed so quickly was via stripping down most parts from the inoperable Aerowing in fact...

Or maybe Voyager launched before it was installed. I think that's what the Novel-verse went with.
They went streight after the Maquis after they launched IIRC.
Tom: "We need to build a better shuttle, these type 8's suck."
Chakotay: "We've got a nice big aeroshuttle right under our feet."
Janeway: "Brilliant, let's strip her down for parts and build a new shuttle."
Chakotay: "Why not just use the aeroshuttle?"
Janeway: "Because Tom said build. Now hand me a crowbar!"

To be fair, Voyager had lost more people than it picked up from the Equinox, just like they lost more people than they got from the Maquis ship. I don't think they ever actually made it back up to a full complement.

The Intrepid-class USS Voyager had a crew complement of 141 when departing Deep Space 9 in 2371. (VOY: "Caretaker") Throughout its journey in the Delta Quadrant, the ship operated with a crew of approximately 150. (Star Trek: Voyager)
Expecting consistency from Star Trek: Voyager is never a good idea. We'll just have to add "crewmen" to the list of self-replicating supplies on that ship, right after shuttlecraft and photon torpedoes.

Yeah, I forgot that particular continuity glitch. 141-30+7=150. Ok, so Voyager mathematically shouldn't have been at full complement, but somehow had surplus crew.
I'm not sure if that's better or worse than the redshirt from TOS who beamed down, was never shown to have died, but just wasn't there when everybody else beamed back up.

I think the best in-continuity conclusion is simply that there were more Maquis crewmembers than we ever realized - I think we see extras wearing provisional rank pips from time to time, and I don't recall the show ever providing an official count of Val Jean personnel on Voyager (thankfully, because we all know how bad the producers were at keeping track of that stuff).
I never heard that TOS anecdote. That's...delightful. :P

I think it would be more of a case where they wouldn't want to use the Aerowing Shuttle. Until they got the delta flyer they lost quite a few shuttles. The last thing you would want to do is loose a part of the hull after putting it into a situation where it was no longer retrievable.
With that shuttle gone it could but the cargo bay in a vulnerable position. In Combat if the shield go down there goes the cargo bay. With no supply route to the federation those supplies are more valuable then ever. There were a few times where we can see episodes about them try to retrieve from theft.
The Delta Flyer was the only reason they stopped bleeding shuttles.

Good point. I can live with that explanation. It would be very nice though if we got to see the Aerowing and maybe even an auxiliary warpcore based ability on a T6 intrepid vessel. That would be the icing on the cake

My understanding of the aux warp core is that it's not an active warp core - it's a spare. To use it, you'd have to remove it from its storage location and install it in Main Engineering, replacing the primary core.

That explains SO MUCH.
Interesting statement to make about something that never appeared on the show, and for all intents and purposes didn't exist.
USS Casinghead NCC 92047 launched 2350
Fleet Admiral Stowe - Dominion War Vet.

Or just an Ordinary Police Box. One of the two.
