Get your very own Voyager MSD from the Arc Media Gallery! Check out this fantastic image created by Tim "Suricata" Davies and Nick "Tacofangs" Duguid! Get to know the interior of this iconic ship, cause you might need to know your way around it very soon...
I think this is awesome. And leave it to Suricata to get you guys to put the MSD on the Intrepid Class bridge, where it belongs.
NOW, if you guys would use Suricata's OTHER ideas for STO (like the computer core upgrade system to allow players to upgrade their favorite ships, rather than being stuck with ships they don't want, and eliminate the need for a ship tier system altogether), this game MIGHT be headed in the right direction, for once.
Watch out - the "Ba'al" types will start delivering bacon on a periodic basis now...
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

I'm actually debating on making a Rainmeter desktop for this, now that I have a Taco template. Making it an animated, functional desktop sounds like a plan.
I just wish it was a different ship, but it goes w/the DR theme, so it makes sense it's the Voyager.
What's that "Aerowing Shuttle" on the lowest deck of the saucer section? Never saw that one before....
BTW Very nice work!
The Aerowing was visible on the model of the ship used in the series and something Rick Sternbach designed as a Runabout type vehicle, sadly due to budget reasons they never got to use it in the series.
Holodeck 2 is on Deck 6, although to add it on the MSD would of meant intersecting the turbolifts or removing some crew quarters. We can just assume that Holodeck 1 and 2 are located to the port and starboard of the ship, and as such arent visible on the MSD.
The MSD image is nothing to write home about, virtually identical to others that are floating about online. For 2410, I thought the systems onboard would be more up-to-date.
One obvious visual point is that the Delta Flyer, as defined in the series, was impractically large for a spaceship the size of the Intrepid Class. There is no way it could be easily maintained in such a cramped location that is suppose to carry several other smaller shuttles (not to mention the episodes that showed other alien shuttles also in that same bay of the same size as the Delta Flyer).
Does make me wonder if Cryptic Studios will be the first video game developer to put a playable version of the Aeroshuttle in-game too.
I've seen lots of fan art, but that would be a really nice feather in their hat to say they put it in the game (even if I'm not personally a fan of shuttle content).
The Aeroshuttle wasn't that spectacular, and not much more efficient than a standard shuttle.
But..
If they gassed it up a bit in capability. Added a third boff slot? Maybe engineering?
In my opinion shuttles are a lot like escorts. If you've flown one, you've flown them all. But the Aeroshuttle is still a canon art asset that would just be kind of awesome to have in the game just because it's there.

There are many subtle changes on this MSD of Voyager than many might not see at first glance ;-)

Why not Zoidberg? I mean. . . Both!
It is the actual image (texture), inset into a modified screenshot of the console. So, if you crop it, it is the actual texture we use.
Tacofangs has a real name
And here I thought they would include some shuttles.

GOOD on ya Suricata!
I know right.:eek::P
I can still move.
I can still fight.
I will never give up!
BTW Very nice work!
Beautiful as usual, Tacofangs.
Can we count on more glorious artwork in Delta Rising? Will it beat new ESD? The Sphere maps?
I can't wait!
And the grand veil of secrecy has been lifted...

Though it'll look really out of place if I use that bridge on, say, a Sovereign or a Nebula.
Not only this...
shut up, nobody's supposed to know that my chel grett can do that...
also, 1080p.....please
Other than that, great work!
That'll be the Aeroshuttle.
Join the Deltas today!

Ironically, I already took that into account, Hydroponics is directly under the shuttlebay on Deck 11.... ;-)
Love the MSD. Hope to see more in the future. They're one of my favorite art assets in the Star Trek franchise.
I'd love to see the MSD on some of the Cryptic-designed ships and what the little bells and whistles on the ship models actually do.

Pay no attention to the man behind the taco.

Where's the duck?
I think that was the Enterprise-D.
