I dont know whats going on today but in the 4 years I ve been playing that game (and I PUG alot) I havent had such a bad day like today.
Starts with Khitomer Ground. At first everybody was running around through all possible hallways on this map pulling everything around, then 3 people moved to the room and activated random shield generators. Even though I was able to bring one down alone I couldnt run as fast to the generators as they were randomly activated.
After 10 Minutes playing their game and realising that the 4th team member joined the other 3 in the Console room, I decided to bow out.
So I ve decided to queue up for an Infected Space Elite to just release my anger towards the Borg. Nothing can go wrong on this one. Even though people always beat down thoose generators before the other 3 are ready to blow up I am always able to slow down the probes with Warp Plasma before they reach the Transformer.
But today was different. One Generator went down before the Cube was even at 50%. Everyone was shooting random stuff. One guy even sit before the Gate and shot it. (Both Transformers were active)
After I did the 3rd circle around the Nanitespheres with Warp Plasma (Warp Plasma has a longer cooldown)
I couldnt prevent the Optional to fail... Instead of shooting the Transformer everyone was busy with the Spheres and random stuff.
Talking to them in Team Chat doesent help. Noone of thoose dumbsters either have turned it on or cant read properly.
I was able to hold of the Nanitespheres for like 2 minutes. The Transformer still at 90% as I left it... :rolleyes:
But thats not the top of the story. Meanwhile that guy that was shooting the gate realized it doesent take damage. So he decided to start the other side solo and of course shot the Generator before anything else.
More Nanitespheres... *facedesk*
And so this instance ended after 20 unecessary minutes of blowing up Spheres before they respawn...
Took a break.
Then I went to Undine Infiltration. Hey nothing can go really wrong here.
It can. People dont want to put weapons to stun at first. Its not like it rewards a bonus or so...
Then instead of reading the text just clickie clickie... of course every person quarantained. Undine or not... does it matter for Marks?
Oh hey Firefight is on... everyone decided to wait at the Market for the Undine to shapeshift. (6/10 suspects questioned)
Seriously?
So I put out the fires and questioned the other remaining 4 people...
The last part went pretty normal.
So after this horrible day of queues I log off for now and hope for better runs tomorrow.
That one question is crawling in my mind still... why do people queue up for Elite Stuff when they have no idea what they are dojng? Or blow up like 15 times per run with an Injury List longer then my toiletpaper. Why do people go into the Console Room on Khitomer when they have no idea what they are doing? Just pressing random buttons doesent solve the mission.
Please please. Stay Away from Elite content if you have no idea.

God knows i feel your pain ive been in a infeccted where all but me charge to gateway after the initial borg cube and spheres.
Mind you they died over and over again using chat was pointless as you mentioned and after oh 10 minutes of watching this i quit.
Then Khitomer Vortex Elite
The fools hit each transformers generators till the cube showed up at each generator..
and they of course could not handle them and started dieng like crazy and instead of working as a team they would each fly to the cube and die over and over and over.
i just got tired of this and left
so yeah feel your pain
I was on one side alone doing probes and during the respawn times I worked on the Generators. So I was busy with the Cube and Probes. Nothing I couldnt handle.
No probe slipped by and stuff. I was able to destroy one side of the Gateway before the other 4 blew up the other one...
The for some reason I checked the mission objective and the Optional was failed.
4 Probes went through the Vortex.
There were 4 people on the other side and they let 4 probes slip into the Vortex. :rolleyes:
I think that is award winning!

Yesterday was just brilliant. Had alot of good groups. Went through Infected real quick, also Khitomer in Stasis was a blast. Finished Optional with 5 minutes on the clock even got a Plekton Drop.
In average most of the runs I end up are rather ok. But today was just uhm... :rolleyes:
