MME GW Build Still Viable?

wr3knar21wr3knar21 Member Posts: 0 Arc User
So I'm coming back after a bit of a cooldown from STO and I'm wondering if the following build is still relevant and effective in PVE. I'm not interested at all in PVP (sorry guys), but would like to dust off my favorite Science Captain and beat up some Undine and CE a bit.

Thanks all

EDIT: Hell, I'm an idiot this is in the wrong forum. Sorry guys. Admins, please feel free to move this thread over to the Fed Shipyards forum.

I feel like you'd be better off with antiproton weapons/consoles rather than Phaser since you have the obilisk 2 piece set, but that's the only thing that jumps out to me.

Ah sorry there's a slight typo here, there wasn't an Omni Phaser Beam array on the planner, so I substituted the AP variety in lieu of. It's a more recent change since I've dusted it off. Additionally, I wanted to be phaser centric for RP and QFFC console reasons. The drone hangar pets were also a RP change as I felt bad sending my crew members in delta flyers to their repeated deaths.

don't feel bad; all manned small craft have emergency transporters in them that beam the pilot back on detection of catastrophic loss of structural integrity
Like special weapons from other Star Trek games? Wondering if they can be replicated in STO even a little bit? Check this out: https://forum.arcgames.com/startrekonline/discussion/1262277/a-mostly-comprehensive-guide-to-star-trek-videogame-special-weapons-and-their-sto-equivalents
