Unable to change bridge and size/scale of interior

So, I just got an Avenger (love it btw), and since it's basically a compacted cruiser, I thought a "Sleek-Small" interior would fit the theme best. So, I went to change it from "Origin-Medium", purchased & saved the change, and when I went to my ship interior to check it out, it was back to "Origin-Medium". I understand that it's a standard, but as I've been able to change interior bridges and sizes before, I was thinking that there may be an issue.
