Excessive Posts on T-6 ships/upgrading (REALITY CHECK!)

Since the announcement of Tier 6 ships, specifically that certain teir 5 ships can be upgraded at an expense, players have flocked to the forum creating post after post wanting to know which ship can be upgraded or why a certain ship can't be upgraded. I've seen threads speculating what tier 6 will bring us, and just today a thread was started requesting upgrades that will only be available to tier 5 ships to be extended to certain tier 4 ships.
STOP IT!!!
What is a tier 6 ship going to do for you? What is an upgraded tier 5 ship going to do for you? What will either of these new features do for you compared to the ships you are currently using in game? drum roll..... bum bum bum bum bum..... NOTHING!!!! Yep we have a winner.
That rights folks, the game is not changing. STFs are remaining the same; your ships can still melt through borg like a nearly molten heated steel beam can melt through rubber. Unless tier 6 ships brings a significant tactical advantage to PvP then they're doing nothing for you. They only look different that's all.
So for those of you having panic attacks in the forums "OMG I GOT TO UPGRADE ALL 40 OF MY SHIPS OR ELSE!!!", take a moment to catch your breath and ask yourself WHY... WHY SHOULD I SPEND ALOT OF RESOURCES TO UPGRADE SHIPS THAT ARE FANTASTIC?
Yesterday, I got the Ambassador Class, I'm a federation engineer and I slapped on fleet disruptors and took on an entire group of borg spheres in Infected Conduit Elite; it was hardly a challenge. This is a level 40 ship, if I had used my scimitar on my reman I would have literally smoked them, with a tier 6 ship, am I to expect that I'll vaporize them upon spawn?
Ships make cryptic money, that's it, at this point in the game they serve no viable purpose because all the STFs have remainined the same for years (Conduit Elite has and will continue to be SUPER SUPER EASY), foundary missions contain foes that lack AI in its entirety, and running missions with multiple human players to take on more foes is still no challenge.
So folks, if you want a tier 6 ship go for it, you want to upgrade a tier 5 ship, go for it, but you cannot argue that you have to upgrade all of your ships or they will become useless, because they will never become useless. Just to put it in perspective, I sometimes run my NX-Class (with it's mighty 10K hull) in Federation Fleet Alert with MK XII fleet gear and I land plenty of kills and never fail. So if that tiny NX-Class is still viable, then your tier 4/5 ships will also be viable without upgrades.

Yea... Creative, imaginative, nothing that has been seen before.
They know what they're doing from a business model perspective in the short term. Long term will be interesting. I've been here before...
