An Introduction to the Elite Strike Force
The Elite Strike Force (ESF) is the gaming division of the UFP that focuses on end game content with a particular focus on the Borg STF missions. In order to apply for membership to ESF, you must first join the UFP and be a member of the community for 1 month or 2 weeks if you have actively participated in any of our weekly Borg Special Task Force (STF) events. You will need to have at least one level 50 character, a good understanding of STO game mechanics and the best gear you can get your hands on. The members of ESF are constantly pushing the envelope with regards to builds, game mechanics and stragedy and we pass on that experience to members of the community. ESF hosts weekly events for all UFP members to run the space and ground Borg STF missions. Every member of ESF loves to take members through the runs for marks, accolades, optionals and just plain fun!
Additionally, ESF has our Black Ops division which focuses on No Win Scenario and exploring tribble content for what's coming down the road. They keep the community updated as new patches and seasons are on the horizon.
Finally, we have Squadron 47 which focuses on PVP and taking that aspect of STO to the pinnacle of competitive success.
So, If you are considering joining UFP (and I hope you are) and you like to push your gaming to the limits, be sure to check out the Elite Strike Force!

What the UFPlanets.com Community asks of its gaming members (what we call the Starfleet branch):
All that members are asked for from the UFPlanets.com Community is simple and easy. Members are asked to sign the Community Roll Call which happens on a monthly basis. This can be done fairly easily with just a few clicks of the mouse. The second is to adhere to our simple Community code of conduct.
Why should I join the UFPlanets.com Community?
Our gaming fleet, known as 'The United Federation of Planets', has been voted the world's number one Star Trek gaming fleet and for good reason, we have a large and friendly membership, dedicated officers and an award winning website and forums all of which is in addition to our strong support for a range of Star Trek titles some of which we are able to provide to our members for free!

I also recommend for every new member to run the weekly STF events which are sponsored by the ESF. Those are a good way to get to know the fleet and basic tactics of the game better. Plus they help with grinding dilithium for Expansion 2 aswell
