cannot buy zen through steam

I hate to ask the question thats been asked already, but there's no solution in those threads that works for me.

Anyway, so i bought 50 dollars for steam intending to buy 5000 zen with it, but when i try to purchase zen it sends me to the arc website. I have purchased zen through steam before so idk why its not letting me now.

I mean this may have something to do with it.

So all steam users know that when your playing a game, that little box in bottom right corner turns green and if you click on it, it shows you game your playing.

When I click play in steam for STO, that box turns green but after a few seconds turns blue again, making it look like im not playing anything. So maybe it just does not recognize im playing through steam or something. I also have to enter my password when im logging into launcher.

Anyone know whats going on here, really want some zen and im not gonna buy 50 dollars more through website.

BTW i charged the money for steam from a 50.00 steam cared I recieved

    Bring up the Steam Overlay once and it should re-enable the use of the steam wallet

    PWE Made a huge announcement a few months ago. They stopped using the Steam Wallet system.

    I have tried over and over to buy zen with my steam wallet, and the steam wallet is a valid useable drop down, so why is it not working? If sto no longer supported steam wallet wouldnt the payment drop down for it be gone. Im hoping this is just an error as im not paying another £25. Fix it STO!

    Every single time this has occurred it is because Steam made a change on their end and did not adjust their software for STO. In fact this happens every couple of months. You need to send a message to Steam to correct the interfaces. They are the only one who can fix it.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
