Defense Contract does not award Computer Core Fragments

Hello,

The mission Defense Contract in the Eta Eridani System does not award Computer Core Fragments anymore.

With no fragments it's not possible to get the accolade True Intentions.
Without the fragments it's not possible to play the “Salvage Dispute” mission to earn 1440 dilithium.

Is it possible to bring this back?

    The Core fragments haven't been dropping for quite a while. I guess people including myself have stopped reporting it now.
    Oh, it's not broken? We can soon fix that!

    Cryptic removed the drops on Legacy of Romulus launch, probably because Salvage Dispute was made into a Romulan Story Arc mission.

    Yet another example of their idiotic decission making. They didn't even respond to any of the bug reports posted back in the day.

    Less content, more bugs - that should be a new motto for STO.

    They removed it when 8.0 launched and called it a bug. Probably nerfed it due to the large amount of dil it used to give with the low amount of effort you had to put into it.

    It wasn't exactly low amount of effort. You had to run many "contracts" to get the drops then had to run a mission that -- depending on your ship and setup -- could leave you dead several times over before you finished it.

    It's not like it was a daily. Remember, you had to collect 10 drops, and you didn't always get a drop from "Contract" -- you could have waited a couple weeks or more to get enough to run the mission once.

    It wasn't a bug that removed it. Cryptic removed it entirely. I have 10 core fragments on one of my toons and it simply isn't an option to use them anymore.

    Just another example of cryptic removing content from the game for hairbrained reasons.
