1 vs. 1 PvP would clearly show where the weaknesses in Cryptics game mechanics are. OP abilities, lockbox consoles, and other doubtful stuff they have introduced would definitely be exposed.
People would finally go against one hit kills, OP alpha strikes and vape kills. These are things that shouldn't be in a Star Trek game IMO.

By overcoming the Trinity, the classic team play is gone. It never was a good option for a Star Trek game to start with.

sure queen scora, you are the goddess of 1v1 players and I will praise you and pray for you till the end of the world. You know every counter to any builds in this game like you have proven in a 1v1 against risingstorm from 528th or also in this one against him.

A couple of months ago I helped him out improving his JHAS build and practicing his piloting and buff-reading. He is a pretty young boy (approx. 16) and a good escort player.

So how comes that a superperfect, hyper-intelligent, ultra-flexible and divine dueler like you got anal fisted by a young teenie several times? ^^

Way to bring up ancient stuff bro. Have anything a little more current? So I'm 28 years old and like 380 wins and 12 loses in official 1vs1. This is why those videos mean nothing to me, and that person never battled me again. It's been 7 months. People tend to get into the "They too good to fight me" mode once I adapt and completely learned the counter. I'm still as good as I say I am, and I always fight. Backing down and excuses is for scared players. There's a reason most elite players just stay away from me.

It's why I go on like I do. Unlike people who have to create videos to prove something, I never do that. I know I'm good. "Aye look I recorded when I won and didn't record when I lost." That's videos for you... LOL :D
The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

Nice statistics, who where the 380 opponents you fought against? Fleetless starcruisers/escorts that ran no tac teams ?
As far as I know the only guy who only posts his victories is Dius at the moment, he rarely posts defeats. I record my 1vs1 videos too not to publish them though, but to analyze them for mistakes I did when i got defeated sometimes in the past. Thats what differ professional 1v1 players from "average pvpers". They'll learn from that, adapt and become stronger, more efficient and acquire a better timing and coordination...

Rising battled you twice and you lost badly to him without getting a single kill on him, i have watched ur buff-cycle in multiple videos. I can conclude that you dont think 3-4 steps further you just react to "present situations" and you dont use your controlling abilities effective enough, which firstly makes very predictable and secondly no more than an average pvp-player and I doubt that u change something on your builds since last time i saw was a couple of weeks ago in the same ship with equal offensive sci abilities like in those videos. While the bug pilot read and memorized your important defensive and offensive boff and captain abilities and tried to find a vulnerable gap in your cycle, that is the reason why he killed you over and over. You didnt realize that by repeating the same procedure again and again. Switching builds alone isnt enough, but you also need to vary your tactics and your timing.

There is no reason to act so arrogantly, there are alot of other more experienced science players who can support you enhancing and optimizing your coordination and builds.

I guess you miss the part where I said it was 7 months ago. Click on videos. Look at date posted. A lot has changed. I'm nowhere near the same as I was back then. I have my full Voth set for example. It's a major difference in combat. I had only 2 builds back then, I have 7 now.

I might not be so arrogant if it was for the fact that people act so scared when I asks for a rematch or a 1vs1 battle. I don't need any help from anyone believing their better at this point. I'm the best for a reason. I'll rematch someone infinite times, other players it's not the case, they get scared. It's why I'm better. Don't really understand all this fear I see from players. I give them a chance to adapt. Don't see why they can't give me that chance too.

...And to be real honest drain builds are the only builds that can beat me. Zero power insulators. Not changing it either. I'm just that crazy.

1vs1 queue would truly bring me back into STO. It would be like the ultimate gift. Maybe I can battle the elite people who constantly avoid me.

I think everyone here has watched you die a lot more than 12 times. But I'm sure those countless other dozens of deaths were complete "bs" in the Scora handbook. Whatever man, you asked for all of this.

Official 1vs1 is a set arena and 1st to 5 kills win. So yes 12 loses in a real 1vs1 fight. It's the reason I said 'official' in the first place. If it's not in an arena it doesn't matter. Make it to 5 kills before me = I lost. Come on now, I wasn't talking about ker'rat where everyone cheats and gets help. LOL.

We need the 1vs1 queue badly.

the biggest issue I really see for 1v1 cues, would be the warping out

not to say folks dont warp out in 5v5s, or cap and holds, but its alot less frequent I think on account of so many eyes on you, cant really get away with being a poor sport when 9 other folks just watched you qq

I think if we had 1v1 cues, you would see more queen scora style pvp, a fbp troll boat that if the fights not going her way, she flys off, cloaks, then procedes to tell you how your not worth her time to pvp filled with profanity and then warps out to save her ship from being stomped

I think that mentality would spill over to the 5v5 cues after awhile and you would have a very common practice of poor sportsmenship in pvp matches as a whole as masses of players warp out of matches that are not going their way

also, with it being a "he said, she said" sort of situation after the fight in the 1v1 you would also have a queen scora style bravado that would start to grow, players pounding their chests saying they killed so and such 15 times when in fact it really was just 2 times, but with no witnesses, whos to prove otherwise short of filming the match

leaderboards would have to be a part of a release of a 1v1 cue, just to have some records of the match in place so folks like the above and a few others dont just warpout their way to over inflated wins
Poor sportsmanship isn dependent on the game mode IMO.

Sure a 1 vs 1 match would afford other tactics like FBP against escorts, but that's nothing bad about that.

I'm not a regular PvP player, in fact i have stopped doing PvP 3 years ago, because of ppl like you are describing.
I had no idea that some players still behave idiotic like that.
If things are still like you say, then i would prefer if they remove PvP completely from the game, hoping that those players leave STO forever.

stopped pvping 3 years ago? thinks pvp should be removed from the game

dude, why even take time out of your day to even respond on the pvp forums if you dont even pvp anymore, and not like, stopped last week or last month, 3 years?!?

    comon

Ill tell you what players I want to see go away, pvp ghosts like yourself that still haunt the forums long after you have gone away from pvp, really, just go enjoy the game, and if you cant win pvp matches or dont like pvp in sto- GOING to the forums to troll or stir up your pvp giggles is just stupid-

    ...

    blub

    ...
sorry i haven't read all that, i hope you don't mind.
I'm sorry i stepped on your toes, by saying why i left PvP in the first place. Your reaction just showed why PvP became so disgusting for some ppl. (like me).

This thread was my first posting for years (afaik) in PvP forum, making a suggestion to improve PvP so it gets more interesting for ppl. who have given up on it, but are somehow still interested in it.
But after seeing your reaction just reminded me why i stopped doing PvP in the first place. Thanks for that. :)

you make a thread to purpose 1v1 cues,

you then go on to say you dont pvp and havent for 3 years

you try and stand up for the merits of 1v1 pvp cue (in an mmo) when we all know you can just request a 1v1 any second and get one in like under 5 minutes from some random guy

and your BIG helpful fix for pvp is just to suggest they just simply eliminate pvp from sto all together..... when you created your ...post.. in the pvp forums.. for a 1v1 PVP cue.. ok dude, really,
    Chill out,
i was just refereing to some people showing poor sportsmanship, nothing else.
No need to take everything personal. We're just discussing about a suggwestion here, no one wants to fight.

My comment that PvP should be erased wasn't meant to be taken literal.

I dont know what planet you come from where reading a couple paragraphs of text is to daunting, or what the POINT of your posts are, because they dont make sense, I guess its simple

    you want pvp in sto

or you dont want pvp in sto

you want to kirk it up solo style with a cue EVEN THO you can just get a 1v1 with 2 seconds of effort as it stands now

you say the holy trinity is broken because of all the op this, and consoles that, standard dino rant we read everyday on the forums from dino players like yourself

tell ya what, going to stop right there, cause im probably over your 4 sentences of reading comprehension, and just skip down to what I think.. you should do..

if you play pve all the time, go to the pve forums

if you dont like to pvp cause its to hard and you dont like teamwork, then go to the pve forums

there you can fly your awsomo pve build and watch ships spolde all day patting yourself on the back on how awsome your ship and build is

PLUS!! folks will agree that your awsome:)

    and you are,
    you are a special snowflake

p.s. if you made it this far, your reading comprehesion is over grade 4
Insulting others doesn't help anyway.. :)

Yeah, it would also be awesome if you actually stayed past 3 kills when things aren't going your way:
