VR Bio-Molecular Photon Torpedo Launcher Mk XII - wrong Rarity damage boost

I was just looking at some numbers for another thread when I noticed something was off about the numbers between my various Photon torps. Both the Enhanced Bio and Grav Photon had the same damage while the regular Bio Photons had slightly less damage.

This is one of the few scenarios where Ground is the easiest place to check for the issue (though the initial discovery was in normal Space).

Open up the Fluidic Dil Store and look at the damage of an [Acc]x2 - it's listed at 3047.5 damage.

Open up the Exchange and find a non-[Dmg] mod'd VR Mk XII Photon torp - it's listed at 3081.3 damage.

3081.3 - 3047.5 = 33.8 / 0.025 = 1352

1352's the base damage of a Photon torp (the TRIBBLE/Mk 0 version).

0.025 = 2.5%, around the amount that each level of rarity beyond Common gives.

Common +0.0%, Uncommon +2.5%, Rare +5.0%, Very Rare +7.5%...etc.

Conclusion, the Bio torps in the store are using the Rare modifier instead of the Very Rare modifier...as if they were the Rare torps you can get from reward boxes from slotting projects rather than the Very Rare you're buying from the Fluidic Dil Store.

Nah, it's just one of those random things...lol, more like Scooby and the kids detective work than the Hardy Boys. Just stumbled upon...an odd noticing...sort of thing.
