Graphical Issue: Missing ships, characters etc

Hello,

I've been away for a couple of weeks now and only just update to 9.5 today. I've had no problems before but now when a character conversation screen pops up I only only see the top of their heads. Also on character equipment tabs only the head is visible. Finally when I visit a shipyard to buy a new ship I can't actually see the ship. Everything else is there just not the ship image. Anyone know a potential solution?

I've been having the same problem, myself. I recently posted about it here: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1179911

In my case, however, I can see nothing, not even the tops of heads.

I have found a workaround, however. Go into the display tab of settings and reset them to defaults. Then adjust your settings to how they were before and the issue should be temporarily resolved. Unfortunately, the issue comes back every time the game is launched ;/
