Maybe a stupid question, but as nearly all kind of beams have a dual beam bank variant, why isn't there yet a Spiral Disruptor Dual Beam Bank ? It wouldn't be a big effort to give the Galor such a tiny upgrade.
OK, if I have to stay here for a while, your cieling ... looks idious.:D
So, according to you they do nothing simply because it's not the most selling aka popular ship. Au contrair, it's still one of the most wanted ships around, and even without all those gimmick consoles that the other lobi/lockbox ships gets, the Galor is pretty damn good ship. Why not give it a dual beam spiral diruptor beam bank. Don't forget that those are only available in the dilithium store, unlike all other (Andorian Phasers excluded). As special gimmick, to compensate the console madness of other lockbox/lobi ships, they may make them 180° Arced or able to place them at the back.

It didn't have them when it came out and it didn't get them when it (and the standard SW disruptor) was updated when fleet ships came out. It's highly unlikely to get them now, its not the new shiny thing anymore.
if you really want disruptor DBB that match, you might have to settle for the Elachi ones
Selling "fine" and "selling on par with other ships" is not the same thing... You should know this.
it is an unfair comparison to begin with, since the galor was one of the first lockbox ships...at the time it seemed to be everywhere anyway. Everybody seemed to have one. Now you don't see them anywhere anymore it seems. Same goes with the D'kora or even the tal shiar destroyer (though the tal shiar cruiser is still popular)
So was it the owrst selling? Not in my opinion, that must definately be one of the hyrogen ships. Was it on par with, say the Wells? No, definately not.
Anyway, it would be nice to see some data on this issue, anything else is guesswork.
It's not about what ship is selling better or not, nor which is more popular or not. Fact is that for each kind of beam, there is a dual bank counterpart available wether it's those you can buy at a vendor, reputation system beams, fleet beams, even the newly crafted beams. Why can't the spiral disruptor not have the dual bank kind, for a lockbox ship that comes without the fancy consoles other lockbox ships have. Even the lockbox doesn't hand out a special kind of weapons that should go with the ship, like others do. And for obtaining that spiral disruptor beam bank, simply add it where the rest of the spiral disruptor beams can be found, in the dilithium store, at the same price.

I don't think they are going to give it more attention than it already has.

I think the Galor sold fine.
