Nerve Tonic geting on the nerves

nazelnagnazelnag Member Posts: 230 Arc User
so, why is "Nerve Tonic getting on the nerves" ?

* first used to be able to save several nerve tonics / trade / sell / etc.

* then, wasn't possible to trade on the exchanged couldn't trade the nerve tonic (bound)

* now, we can't even equip the item :(

* so, we can't get rid of nerve tonic, from the mail, delete from inventory, sell to trader, consume to get rid of it.

it just stays there, taking inventory / bank slots and can't do anything with it.

why the "need" to be that stiff with that unimportant item ?

would be nice if we could get rid of it, as before.

On the mail part, have you tried just deleting the whole mail?

I concur with my esteemed colleague. I have had several emails containing nerve tonic that I cannot claim, cannot delete, and 1/4 of my email capacity is wasted. I have submitted several bug reports over the months but have received neither answers nor resolution. Hopefully this post will get noticed and something can be done. Dano

Aren't they a Unique item - one per character? The stopedia indicates as such. That could prevent the claim if you already have one.

I would also like to point out they have said many time mail is not "storage space" and have made changes before like this and will not "fix" the issue as it was not designed to be used that way in the first place. I would recommend deleting the email...

personally, i don't have the mail issue myself, but i have spoken with people that have it, and they state they can't delete the mail.

in my case, i have it on my inventory and can't delete it in any way or form. you can trash most items, but not that.

There is already a thread in the bug section about this but I found a temporary solution to the inventory problem. I don't know about the mail problem though.

I just did night of the comet and asked the bartender to make another drink and they all cleared out of my inventory.

The popularity of the Nerve Tonic is because when used it triggered a smexy dance emote that is otherise unavailable.

Maybe Cryptic should add it to STO's list. Its already available over in Neverwinter.

That's a nice design flaw/bug for being in inventory *sigh*... though I admit was fun when it could still be traded and was completely for the most part pointless :)
