Am I just missing something incredibly obvious? I have a lvl 45 captain, and while I'm able to do the Omega STFs, there still isn't an Omega tab on my Reputations page. The only thing listed is the Tier 0/Events tab. I have Omega marks: is there somewhere I need to go to activate the Reputation?
Makes perfect sense... Rep system is endgame... Level 50 is "the end of the game".
Accessing the mission types at 45, is to give you a good start, once you've leveled. (To give you marks)
Mostly to collect borg neural processors and to have access to omega stuff earlier .. marks are not that important (he will have plenty of em right away) ...

Yes, later on, marks will be in abundance, but I sense they want people to imagine that the Rep systems aren't a grind... a good bunch of marks before you start the system is a good way to make people believe that.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Yeah, it's a way to get marks prior to "End Game". However, the rep system is setup so that you really only need to do 1 STF per day to get more than enough marks for a daily rep project (20 hours); which only requires 30 marks. However, getting Omega rep gear will require a lot of marks (500 or 1,000 depending on the PC) and you also need BNPs (10 per gear) from the elite STFs. By the time you have completed tier 5 of the Omega rep you will have all the BNPs you need to a complete set and probably most of the marks you need to buy a complete set long with the Borg Adapted starship weapons.
More importantly it give players the opportunity to develop a strategy for elite STF at level 50. Nothing pisses off a "veteran" Vice Admiral more than a "newbie" Vice Admiral ruining an elite STF.
