While attempting to acquire crafting components from the Mission Mine Enemy I realized that the item I had acquired from scanning the anomaly in space was not in my R&D inventory. I ran 2 additional scans on Magnesite ore and a Verteron particle traces without any change in the amount of items in the R&D inventory. A doff mission rewarding these same items finished as I was doing this I I did see the number of items increase. Afterward in the ground portion I repeated my attempts on the anomalies on the ground. Again no items were added to my R&D inventory. Has anyone else noticed this?
Text log of items supposedly received shows as follows
[10:35] [ItemReceived] Items acquired: Magnesite x 5
[10:36] [ItemReceived] Items acquired: Magnesite x 5
[10:37] [ItemReceived] Items acquired: Verteron Particle x 4
[10:41] [ItemReceived] Items acquired: Duranium x 5
[10:42] [ItemReceived] Items acquired: Duranium x 5
At no point did these items appear in my inventory.
I should not that I did have stacks of these items in my inventory but they did not increase as items were gathered, this is what caught my attention. It is quite possible that this is a isolated case but I would ask if you are getting items from anomalies that you check and see that your stack counter actually goes up when collecting crafting materials
Excuse me for digging old posts, but I have a similar bug. For about three weeks as I play, I haven't received any materials from scanning anomalies, both space and ground. I had received message "Materials acquired", but there is no materials in inventory, R&D inventory or R&D assignments, not even chat window shows new materials. Doff assignments, on the other hand, do reward materials. For example, in mission "Everything Old is New" I have scanned Duranium ore and received nothing, but a Doff assignment rewarded me with some Thoron particles.
