Whats been going on the last year or so with pvp in this game?

    Shhhh, all the old school pvpers are resting peacefully in their crypts. Just the sparkly pvpers running around these days...

    Damn, I just realized how depressing your thread title actually is...as I started to count the number of folks from before the F2P conversion that I still see posting...meh.

    Minimax is still trucking. Hus is still here. I see Hilbert some of the time in OPvP. I've even seen Rock play a bit too. Dev needs to get his TRIBBLE back here too. :D

    We've seen some guys return like Shi'Tok, but then leave in disgust over how heal heavy the game is. lol.

    And as for the game:

    PvP is now about spike kills and even more healing. Drain builds are also the hotness at the moment. We have a ton of Oh ****! buttons too. We also have mixed queues now finally! They should have been in the game earlier.

    I play as a classic vaper (BO + CRF + THY) if that counts...

    My Old toons were Xeve (Spoooooooon! B'rel), Mipol, Thirty now.

    More time gating and power creep to answer your question. Shuttle PvP I found to be fun, but most don't like it and Cryptic didn't bother to scale down various powers to shuttle levels.

    For PvE, there's been a few new FEs, revamped some old missions (Borg). But, mostly grind zones.

    I've been a running a squishy single aux2batt Mirror Hanom (Rommy Sci) just to spam Sci TRIBBLE out of Battle Cloak, getting old. Oh they've removed even more shared cooldowns of Boff powers (eg Team cooldowns). Of the 5 Sci debuff boff powers I use only GW & TR share a cooldown, but w/tech and Gav Doffs they can overlap.

    Anyway have you tried Star Citizen Alpha (I'm horrid @ it atm) or Elite?

    Wish I could be amongst that uber elite pvp group.. I'm more of an outcast.. one who's not good enough to be elite.. But not so terrible to be a newb. Which is fine with me I guess for now.

    Though this new Crafting System they implimented urks me...

    You have to Craft mats... in order to Craft Gear.. I do not agree with that..

    Nor do I agree with "Pay Dilithium now to Finish projects!" ... If I want to see that TRIBBLE I'll play more Facebook games! Which is of course what they are trying to mimic I guess..

    I think you just started being respectable and getting up in the morning. Now its like your in a different timezone man ! lol (seriously though ya my friends list is smaller now then ever... I guess I haven't been making new friends to replace the old ones that fast either)

    Must be nice not having to take vitamin d supplements like the rest of us vampires. Hopefully run into you at some point... Warlord has been beating on feds in kerrat again... we could almost get like 60% of a RZR team going. :)

    You would love the Pallisade though Mai. Would feel very familiar.

    Torps have had a few nice buffs... game is as good and bad as it has ever been. Just depends how much you can adjust and or tolerate.

    Hey Rock has been on Rom chasing rats lately... you could always come back and do that. ;) JK although I think I did talk to him once while he was doing just that.

    Actually I just wasn't in the mood to play. Also I work nights. On the Eastcoast I work generally 4pm to anywhere from 10pm-12am So work has been keeping me busy.. Though occationally I can try to run STO, if to do nothing but doff, while working..
    And I guess I'll have to run it for Crafting too... :mad:

    No, haven't needed to take vitamin D.. but I did have to take Xanax for a little while.. And only just started to go see a Psychologist for Anxiety issues.. So yay.. :(

    I was gone for about 2 years, and I am back in the game, but not back PvPing.
