Elite Crafting reward boxes give no purple

The elite crafting materials give no purple material reward.

I ran Crystal Entity Elite, Infected Space Elite, Khitomer Space Elite, Cure Space Elite, and Undine Invasion ground.

Yet not a single purple item dropped.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

    I've done a dozen or so elites last night, got absolutely no very rare material drops.

    Let me guess, working as intended?

    They have a "chance" at dropping Purples, i know people have gotten them, but if your luck is crappy....

    Well at this rate I'll be able to craft something that needs very rare materials in say...3 months. Give or take a week.

    I've done 5 ESTFs so far and have only gotten the base materials. That's a little disappointing. I don't have much time or patience to farm thirty or more ESTFs to get one or two lousy purple crafting materials. I loathe low drop rates (mostly since I always seem to get bad rolls). This is the same reason why I don't spend money (real or in game) on lockbox keys. I hope Cryptic will re-evaluate this and re-tune to be more in favor of the free-time impaired.

    we did all ground elite stf's (5) , no very rare's.
    LOL, people were complaining before the rep system about very rare prototype armor drops, they fixed that with rep. grind for the unlocks and now put it back in for the crafting.

    I did around 25-30 elite ques. Got 2 drops of purple.

    They have set it up like neverwinter where the crafting components you use are too rare to waist, so you have to buy catalists.

    This is intentional so that you'll shell out fat $$$ to buy the C-store crafting gambling boxes.

    By this time next year you'll have to shell out $$$ to open every box you get - from reputation awards to STF drops.

    I did about 10 estfs yesterday and in one occasion the mats box had 3 very rare mats.

    Keep trying guys, from what I can tell out of the boxes I have opened so far, it ranges between 3-10 possible VR mats, but the odds of even getting them are kind of lousy.

    Is this some sort of sick joke? Everyone else I know seems to have gotten a very rare drop by. EVERYONE.

    What do I have to do, play 100 STFs? 500? 1000? HOW MANY!? :rolleyes:

    I've gotten a total of 23 very rare mats so far. Usually I get 3 VR's, but yesterday I had 10 in a single package. It felt like I won the lottery. :D

    I usually don't get very rare mats from the boxes though, I'd say I had a 20% drop chance for very rare materials so far, maybe 15%.
