1v1 Defiant Tournament

Greetings!
Let's shake the dust from these long-forgotten escorts and heat up the fingers!
Why these ships?
Firstly they are relatively cheap.
Secondly I'd like to draw attention that they are inferior to other high end ships in current meta.
Despite that they are good for 1v1 because they have limited engineering and science boff slots which makes piloting skills more important and almost prevents the use of skills unwanted in 1v1 like rsp.
RULES
1. Tactical captains only.
2. Only ONE clickable universal console per ship. Cloaking device (cloaked state) is prohibited. This is the dogfight tournament.
3. Console/loadout swapping is allowed after being defeated.
4. All kinds of temporary buffs are allowed (including jevonite hardpoints).
5. All matches must be held on the CnH Salvage Operation map (influence 100) in the nebula which is right between respawn points. This is done to prevent stalls when one of the players always runs or never comes to fight.
6. Time and score restrictions: 15 minutes or 3 kills. If the match is taking longer players must stop the fight, change their builds to deal more damage and replay. Thus try not to make too tanky ships in the first place.
7. All matches must be recorded by players themselves so that we could all watch the fights. Also these videos would be the proofs that you followed the rules. The winner must upload the recorded match to wherever he likes (preferably YouTube) and attach the link.
If you have TRIBBLE pc invite me to the match and I'll record it myself.

Plus there is an additional 10m ec reward for a winner of a match that I liked most.

This is my first tournament so advices will be appreciated. Especially how to set up matches. What are the pitfalls in tournament organization? What are the common problems?

My best guess is that they think since these ships are extremely bad in random pvp then they will also be bad against one another.
Bear in mind that anyone playing this has to have an up-to-date Fed Tactical toon with a Defiant. Otherwise one is simply at a disadvantage. Since Roms, well.......
Not to mention one may simply be unused to Defiants. Or escorts in general. Or playing as a Tac.
Defiants aren't all that cheap either. 40mil EC is a fairly significant investment.
What are you implying, anyway? That they're scared?
Well, there are a lot of tacs, even on escorts. Really. And most of them at least tried the Defiant since it's canon.
Or klink with qin. Unfortunately I was unable to change the title of the thread.
Still it's one of the cheapest top tier ships and definitely cheaper than lockbox or doffbox ships. And it's available anytime as opposed to special ships like risian corvette.
There is one more thing. A lot of famous escort pilots are used to play in teams with support and heals. So they can feel uncomfortable in different circumstances and in obsolete ships.
We will wait.
To be honest I'm terrified, casually gonna move from my pay to win DHCimitar into (potentially) a 9 console defiant on a poor neglected fed toon. It's a good job I don't take myself to seriously is oppose. Come on guys this is a light hearted fun affair, I don't think anybody will think less or you if you don't win the event.
