The launcher shows

"The website is experiencing technical difficulties. Normal game play is not affected"

since last week now, but all web site content appears to be working (using a web browser).

Whats up? is the launcher broken?

New players were getting lost, and the website is pretty old, so they've decided to remove it due to the fact that it isn't up to their high standards of quality.

    I`m not seeing it?

When I think about everything we've been through together,

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

and if that journey takes a little longer,

so we can do something we all believe in,

I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

The Launcher tries to access a couple of Web pages full of Banners and similar Elements that are too similar to Advertisements (see below).
It does so using the System Browser settings for Proxy.

On my system this goes through a filtering Proxy that removes all Advertisement elements from web sites.

Apparently they changed the layout of the content that the launcher loads recently, and the launcher gets irritated by the lack of Advertisement-like content (i guess banner-like graphics or poor java-script code).

    Web Designers...

I just had to white-list the web URL the launcher requests, and now it works just like before.
(i did not update the filtering proxy, so it must have been a change by perfectworlds).
(note: the google-analytics privacy invasion tracking TRIBBLE can still be blocked)

Cheers for anyone with similar problems: Check your Proxy!

EASY there fella... Web-designers and developers only do what their greedy bosses want them to do... They are after all giving us the money we use to feed our kids every day.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.
