Time to decouple Tac buffs from exotic damage

    I do think something needs to be done about tacs and science damage, my solution would be the reorientation of the buffing for science skills away from base damage and into skills and aux.

    Tacs shouldn't be able to make science captains look terrible with science skills, it's just wrong. Yes tacs should do a little more damage but not to the tune that they do.

    I don't see a need to decouple Tac Buffs from exotic damage. If Science Captains in Science Vessels need help, help them directly. Unless they want to reduce the baseline of damage.

    I could easily see powers like Sensor Scan and Dampening Field adding an exotic damage buff or something like that, or SNB granting a Exotic Damage Resistance penalty or whatever.
    Or maybe Science Vessels itself need some help? (I tend to think that, too. At least for everyonthing that isn't Vesta and maybe Recluse)

    Terribad idea. OP is way off base. PvP should NOT be the basis by which this game is driven into the ground.
