So, not only was the thread necro'd, it was necro'd to discuss Aux2Batt w/Technicians without referring to the the "new traits" (Crafting Traits at the time this thread was started) mentioned in the title, and without referring to the Starship Traits that are new but untestable until we get access to testing the T6 ships? *sigh*
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.

wanna know the only trait to come out of crafting that has had a major impact? its the sci trait, the one that buffs exotic crit based on partical gens.
a trait for builds that would never run AtB
thread is so fail, let it die in shame
don't bump his new thread ether, don't legitimize the AtB is OP! position.

If you meant my new thread, I made that because I figured there was more than enough necrographia going on here, thanks :P

Lol, when I started the thread, I didn't know the engineer trait didn't work. On the other hand, DR adds more fun to aux2bat with a 7% boff ability CD reduction deflector, because aux2bat boats just needed more.

it will help 1 AtB ships a bit, but everything will benefit from shorter cool downs on everything they have 1 copy of. its actually sort of redundant on 2 AtB builds. 2 AtB builds them selves are redundant for any skill that has more then a 15 second system cooldown anyway, 1 copy can cycle twice before use on every other skill. the fact that those 15 second cooldown skills include all the team skills and most tac buffs, is what can justify 2 copies sometimes. with the enormous buff particle sci ships have got, and they will benefit from this console too, 1 AtB ships getting a boost too their cycling ability seems due.
this will help non AtB tactical ships quite a bit too. will help lower the gaps that appear with damage control doff cycling of EPt skills, 1 AtD escorts with the doff will have a shorter gap, pared with 1 purple ET/ST/TT cool down doff should get real close to global, etc...
if your knee jerk thinking is oh this is another AtB buff, about everything, consider that maybe you have lost perspective.

I think a2b ship are already capped at minimum CD anyway, if they use the purple DOFFs, have 2 a2b skill, and use a2b when it's up. More cd reduction won't help them.

Hehe, I'll do the hard part for you... Everything new makes Aux2Batt worse...
