WoW did not saw that earlier in this game but there is 30 bots standing and hoping in 1 spot near Warriors Hall whit names ASDASFASF ffffsdadsads ASDASFASFASF etc.

for long time i was thinking this game is bot free because of simple things like items bound to character and many changes in game every weak that makes bots to update often.

let me explain why it is serious in my opinion and experience. i was playing Silkroad online since the beginning of this game to lvl 110 (this is huge) and i saw beginning and grand final of gold farmer bots as we call it in few years period. it started simple few bots here few there but when they grown in power i mean $ they have more money than original owners of game XD and fight back was impossible it was disaster! gold farmers was every where it was hard to find human player, community was deed, servers overcrowded, enormous lags thousands of bots trying to join game other thousands kill still to human players and in that point bans was a joke because next day new thousands of lvl 1 gold farmers appeared.
i did saw that ***** emails in my box that offers things for $ but did not thought it is gold bot farmers attack on this game :(

Guess some of us are...hrmm, I guess we just laugh at them and don't take them as seriously as we should. Some folks were joking about how it looked like a bunch of guys in training, letting their supervisor/trainer now they had managed to log in - doing their lil' "+" things. I guess part of it is a karmic thing, looking at all the @accountnames after the random keyboard strokes...and how they looked like normal account names. So basically it looked like accounts that were likely compromised from somebody hitting up such a site, etc, etc, etc - that just desserts sort of thing, that folks deserve to get screwed for doing TRIBBLE like that. If it weren't for folks doing that TRIBBLE, then there wouldn't be companies out there doing TRIBBLE like that in turn...let the bots run rampant to get stuff to trick folks into compromising their accounts...Cryptic should even give those compromised accounts a special Darwin award.

Some of them are funny. A couple days ago I saw a character named Emergency Disco Hologram belonging to a very large active fleet beam in to the Risa Dance floor, do a few dances, then log out. It's obvious this is a favor farming bot, but it was well done and funny.

since the game team dont care about what happens in their own shop, frankly the point of what the op making is completely void. farming stuff is fine, and both sides get something for their efforts. if there are bots in the game and not effecting any server processes, not data-mining or whatever, just reacting to the information it gets from the server and sends the correct info back as a 3rd party program completely external but legitimate, it is fine to run it. the tos allows it.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

These folks are the website folks...they're not gamers farming...they're employees of a nefarious organization that rivals the threat posed by the Iconians! ;)

While farmer bots are all sorts of bad, Cryptic has had trouble with bigger problems and done less with lazy hand waving results, so doN't expect anything expect more spam mail to ignore.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

this is not bots number 25 is filled by a few players farming favors with alts most the day, log in keybind dances to a number pad/letter/whatever press number use another sto launcher press number another sto launcher press again and so on that way many alt accounts farming together at once.

as for the first city bots..yes those have been there a week or so from what i've noticed, as i've spent alot of time there leveling a new character and all day they spam in zone hour after hour and all hour long, nobody really seems bothered to report it, first city zone chat is pretty much dead anyways, i somewhat doubt they'll even get any ones attention to there website

Which they then in turn, turn around and sell the EC for real money, and flood the economy with inflated costs because there is so much EC floating around...

So what. Before CoH shut down players ran a dance party for three months 24/7 in an Atlas City shard under the statue in front of city hall.

I remember thoroughly enjoying the CoH betas. I remember a pretty decent launch. I remember the introduction of the boombox. I remember uninstalling the game...

...I came back months later, once the sheer nonsense of it all died down.

Guys if you see bots, just report them there is no reason to open up a thread about it.
