Best Lobi store ground weapon?

mhall85mhall85 Member Posts: 2,852 Arc User1
I'm thinking about getting a Lobi store weapon for my Rommy, since they are auto-leveling, and I was just curious as to what were people's thoughts on any these ground weapons:

Jem'Hadar Minigun
Elachi Crescent Pistol
Fluidic Wrist Lance
Relativity Phaser Rifle

(Sorry if the names aren't exactly right...)

Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks! :)

Out of those four, fluidic wrist lance is probably the most useful. Secondary is a powerful lingering AoE.

Jem'Hadar Minigun feels a bit underpowered. Range is short, but both primary and secondary fire hits multiple targets.

You need to make sure enemies stay in range of the elachi pistol's secondary attack. It's powerful, but often wasted when enemies move out of the way. Requires practice and good timing.

The relativity phaser rifle is just junk, but the pistol has a more useful secondary stun hold.

I agree hypl, wrist lance is your best bet in the lobi store. I also have experience with the relativity rifle, and that's underwhelming as well. The Voth minigun might also be worth a looksies (fairly powerful and it upgrades your melee attack with an AOE shockwave) but between that and the wrist lance, I'd go with the 8472 oblitation engine.

I can't tell you about the other three, but I can tell you that the Relativity pistol is the ultimate troll weapon

The Jem'Hadar minigun is interesting because, like the pistol and rifle that can be obtained from 'Second Wave', it has 'dial-a-proc' capability thanks to nanoenergy cells (example), some of which can be crafted if you pick up the recipe pack from 'Boldly They Rode'.

The Elachi "Hand Cannon" (It kinda is a Hand Cannon after all) is a good first strike ambush weapon from what I've seen. As long as the enemy hasn't been aggro'd yet, the alt fire makes for a good wake up call.

The Jem'Hadar minigun shares the same advantages as the other JH weapons, has a wider AoE, but suffers from decreased range over standard miniguns. A decent tradeoff in my opinion.

The Relativity Rifle is basically a fancy Split Beam from what I've seen. Don't really know much about this one.

I think the Undine Buster... I mean lance... has been covered already.

Personally... I kinda like my Tholian Crystaline Sword. ^^

Wrist lance has been highly effective for my klingon toon. Lots of fun and it looks cool.

One other not mentioned is the Voth Shocktrooper gun. Not that great against Borg due to it's high rates of fire (adaptation issues), but against the Undine very effective.

I'm pretty sure that those Nanoenrgy cells are functional on ALL ground weapons now effective after Season 7: Nerf Grindulous.

The only lobi weapon I have in the Vaadwaur polaron split-bolt rifle thingy and it's lethal when upgraded to Mk XIV. I love it for ambushes as the secondary is highly damaging.

Never been a fan of minigun type weapons but I've heard lots of good things about the wrist lance.

Have to disagree on the relativity rifle. The lengthy firing cycle does take a bit of time to adjust to, but the rifle provides pretty good firepower.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
