Crossfire Support?

i been running this game for awhile with 1 7870 GPU and i got a 2nd one..

when i enable crossifre, the game has exactly the same framerate as it had with just one card.
it might even be a little lower.. i get about 45 to 56.

i put it full screen, because it says crossfire only works fullscreen, so its not that.

every other game i play crossfire almost doubled the framerate.





does crossfire not work with sto?

my system specs.

AMD 8350
Dual 7870s
16gb Corsair vengeance 1600 ram
raid SSDs


with crossfire i am expecting 80+ fps..

    I dunno about crossfire, but SLI works. Some players are using it. Now, dont expect more performance, since the performance of STO does nothing to do with the performance of your computer or your videocard. Read the forums, you will know that even high-end systems have real problems running the game at high fps rates. It doesnt matter if you have 2 videocards, 3 or 10 on crossfire lol. Think twice before you waste money on another videocard.
