Female Orion swimwear bug, locked outfit slots since summer event patch

I wasn't originally going to bother with swimwear but I found a string bikini on the exchange for 850k (I guess someone forgot a 0) so I said what the hell and bought it. Only when I unpacked and went to the tailor my character's torso and arms were invisible with the swimwear, I can see other characters wearing the same outfit just fine but my own character looks like she took a point blank varon-t disruptor blast to the torso and just hasn't realized it yet.

Also since the summer event update I've been unable to edit or wear the outfits in my #4 and #5 slots.

I submitted an in game bug report for both these issues but as yet have not gotten a reply.

    In-game bug reports do not get replies. They are a one-way street into Cryptic's tracker database.

    This thread, however, might get a reply. Unfortunately I have nothing else useful to add because I haven't the foggiest clue of how to fix your invisible body parts issue. :(

    I can say that I don't think it's strictly racial.

    I have humans, Romulans (both factions), an Orion, a Trill, a Reman, and an Alien (all female) and have not experienced this bug putting swimwear on them once.

    I have used almost all the female swimwear options. The only ones I don't own on somebody are the one-shoulder and the cropped.

    If this is anything like what I've found, purchasing 2 more costume slots via C-Store actually fixes this problem, you just don't get 2 new slots, it'll just unlock the ones that have mysteriously become locked. Of course you're paying to work around what ever problem it is and likely won't get reimbursed, as I've found. That'll take your money and defer the problem to the devs...

    So be careful about buying new costume slots until it's fixed. Cause you might need to buy more than you realise before you actually get new slots to use.

    Sorry it took so long to reply, the thread must've gotten pushed way down the page list because I couldn't find it until today. I also purchased a swimsuit for my Fed Engineer and she has the same issue.

    Affected characters are taya@talienaster and spooky@talienaster.

    It does look like two separate bugs. Thanks for mentioning that, hopefully it helps get this fixed.

    I bought a few other swimsuits for my Orion and the same thing happens with all of them, missing torso and arms. My KDF Romulan female has her 3rd outfit slot locked just like my Orion female, the outfit in it is still there but I can't edit, wear, or rename it. I also got a swimsuit for my KDF Romulan female and she is also missing the torso and arms, so I can add Kerina@talienaster to the list of affected characters.

    I get the "this outfit uses invalid parts" on my orion regarding the string bikini, though not getting the bug others have of invisible parts in tailor screen.

    I've found that for an Orion, Uniform- Bare Legs & Loinclith + the Flower Belt locks a slot.
    Innozu@swamarian has 2 slots like that locked. I'm not willing to experiment with any others.

    I have not tried on one of my other characters, but the one so far having the issue is my delta recruit, and doesn't have the risian flowers yet, I have tried editing an off duty outfit slot, and using an opened outfit slot to create one for the beachwear with the same result "outfit uses invalid parts" I have tried a different suit with the same result and see others on Risa wearing the 2 suits so am not sure if the suit is new to them as well or if it's just a glitch/bug on my end at the moment

    after accepting both suits I got, they show up for me under beachwear set option

    The dropdown's gray in Beachwear set, and the only option I've got in Beachwear Seperates is the Standard gray tank, and swimsuit top tech. And I bought Swimwear, Female - Tie Waist.

    ...Or apparently not? I don't know, I bought a second one and it worked.
