    Enhanced Induction Coils:
    No longer shares a cooldown with Batteries.
    Now effects Auxiliary subsystems in the same manner as existing Weapons/Engines bonuses.
    Now grants Immunity to Weapons, Engines and Aux offline for full duration.
    Now grants +10 Maximum Weapon, Engines and Aux power for full duration.
    Increased base power bonus from 33 to 50, and gains additional benefit from the Starship Batteries skill.
    Base duration reduced from 20 seconds to 15 seconds, but now gains more benefit from Starship Batteries skill.
    Enhanced Induction Coils AND Enhanced Plasma Manifold:
    Boosts to max power do not stack with the passive bonuses supplied by Warp Cores.
    Only the higher will apply.

    pretty nice change. I wonder how that will affect overcapping. I like the immunity to weapons offline...that means I can get a full alpha off (9 pts in batteries) and not have the rom proc, the tholian proc, or vm take out my weapons.

    Edit: Don't forget the Hirogen +10% clicky. There's going to be some scary Alphas inbound. I wonder, though. If it gives Aux shutdown immunity, can I just use the Hirogen console and not kill my aux? lolz

    Have the weapon power, enjoy it. Its the boost to weapon power *AND* aux power thats going to make this stupiidly OP. Protonic Barrage with full weapons and full buff from T4 nukara.... yeargh!

    Think about it some more. Then think about not being able to offline an aux2bat user's aux even when in theory they should be at 5 aux and a TSSA should knock it out. Now think of console swappers. This is really just p2w anti Sci combined w/Aux2batt buff.

    Ok...I thought about it a little more...and I keep thinking about subnuke, 3 min cd, and hawk fixing console swapping. Not seeing the doom here....

    What I am seeing is the KDF getting a comparable console as the feds while not getting the exact same thing.

    Heh, it does point to the EPM/EIC being part of a coming Lock Box...otherwise it would have taken years for Cryptic to address it. ;)

    See i view this console as a nerf.......With out the battery doff its kinda useless with a skilled player in pvp. 3 min cool down for this console makes allmost use less like most universal console's.
    This console was the only poor man answer to the red matter....and the one few ways a sci could a2b the TRIBBLE out of a eng was with console and batt doff..... you get more power but it has stronger draw backs now. I used this on all my a2b sci with batts doffs but not now and before got more consistant power in battle now 3 min. wait will kil. Keeping in mind the console is for sci ships and thats what i use it for if u was a tact u would consider this as a buff for sci nerf ........

    Allso they do need to show the kdf some love......As a regular fed player i am tired of seeing all romulans in pvp or in pugs. I love to see the klinks back in force and would support ne change that brings this dieng race back. The High command should start a breeding program for the klinks lol

    Faction uniqueness isn't my concern, the anti-sci and bonus to aux2batt builds is. That assumes it even works as they describe, eg how will immunity to offlines effect drain builds. This w/the recent decoupling of team shared cooldowns, cleanse doff, aux2damp doffs, epte ... meh nm Geko is just a greedy PoS who sells crutches and that's not going to change.

    The plasma enhanced manifold was a nerf for sci, why i say this..... i run full flow caps with 2 flow caps embassy consoles with jh lobi set with plasmonic leach with that console and batt doff i was able to keep power like crazy 110 constant now my power drop for over 2 mins now regularly every 3 mins so leaveing all my sci with huge holes in power defense builds.


    But if you use this on a tact ship and combo it with alpha then your next attack u use red matter you have back to back 125 alpha......

    So for the tact this is a win win but for a sci its a pure and simple nerf....

    it does not clense subnuke does help sub system offline massively thou say like from drain build.
    So the way the buffed this console is only for tact it even hurts allready weak drain platform ne more and limits sci massively

    raising the cap to 135 for a short time is a 20% damage buff. but sure, its totally nerfed now :rolleyes:

    For real i use the console on my scii cap with plasmonic leach my flow caps around 180. With old console and bat doffwith my drian build i was able to keep power at 110 accross the board 24/7.
    Now the power drop to normal level for times. With the old console you could keep more stable power levels other then the damage spike curve.
    Most sci officers kill over time and the spike build while effective in pve in pvp its iffie on a sci depending on gear. i rather be consistant threw intire fight then spike...... Damage spikes I thought was a tact abill. I totally agree thou if u are a tact this is a must have now totall buff for tacts. But now it hurts more conventional sci builds unless u own red matter


    If you look at just the console u would say its a massive buffs the older console was better if u look at the numbers over time u was able to create more aux power. and for a sci thats love. But now that 3 min cool down mine as well be a death sentence specially if a sci loss aux. So for sci it hurts. Flat out now if u are a Alien tact fed omg u will love this console specially if u want red matter and i totally think klink need this console but i still think human caps should have asimulators but that will never happen
