With no Jem'hadar Attack Ships on the exchange, where do people buy/sell them?

I searched for the Jem'hadar Attack ship on the exchange earlier and found a grand total of 0.

I recall in the past people mentioning that they would be sold in person to person interactions for above the exchange limit of 500 million and I'm curious, is there a particular trade chat channel or in game location for such a thing?

Or do people just randomly shout out on ESD "I've got an Attack Ship for sale, 600 mil" and if you happen to want one you just need to be in the right random place at the right time?

    Unless you've just got more EC than you know what to do with, the JHAS isn't really worth the crazy price it goes for. There are so many comparable escorts now for far less money.
    Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.

    They randomly shout out in various zones that they've got a JHAS...to pm them with serious offers only...etc, etc, etc. (Lol, though there was the guy looking to trade a Kamarag Retro for a JHAS that kept telling people to shut up that were laughing at him about it...it was kind of entertaining.)

    There are probably various trade channels out there - could probably search channels in the game or search the forums for any names of them.

    They're pretty much a status symbol, nothing more.

    Yes. Other newer ships have crept up in the Power Creep and cost you 1/2 or even 1/3 of what it would with a JHAS.

    The Bugship is still a nasty combination of dogfighting escort with great firepower and near cruiser like hull.

    But other ships are not that far off and not cost you as much.

    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    It's been weeks since I checked, but they were still in the mid-to-high 400m EC on the exchange. Bulwarks on the other hand have been nonexistent on the exchange for ages.

    Talk about an overpriced ship, it makes the JHAS look like a freebie donation...

    people sell them on TheTradingChannel at least once a day or so. Try there if your really desperate....only reason i would even think of getting the attack ship was if i wanted bug pets for the dreadnought.

    They were into the high 300 millions back when the promotion was running, but now as supply dwindles again to historic levels the market value has risen back above the exchange price cap, so people are back to face to face swapping.

    OP - easiest way is to go to ESD and ask if anyone is open to offers.

    Or you wait until there is another Duty Officer Pack Promo that includes the POSSIBILITY to get the JHAS.

    During that time there will be some JHAS again available at the Exchange for 500mil or less.

    Like others said, its a status symbol and a glass cannon. If you are a FED, you can spend money on either the Fleet Defiant or the (Fleet) Tempus.

    To the echange? You can't as the limit is 500 million, hence why they are no longer listed when they go above that threshold.

    I actually saw a bastion yesterday for the first time. I almost tripped over my jem hadar attack ship.
    Should I start posting again after all this time?

    You also still have a very small chance to acquire one from the Exchange if you open Romulan Survivor Duty Officer packs with the 'Promotion' wrapper around it. Just search on the Reward Packs area for 'promotion'. Now I don't know if the latest Lobi Sale had people buying them up because they also drop 10 Lobi when opening the wrapper (you get that or the JHAS). Last I saw they were running about 9 million EC.

    This maybe true but you forget. They are probably sought after by Jem'hadar Dreadnaught Carriers captains. It's the only way of unlocking the Combat Frigate Pet Attack Ships for the Jem Dread.

    Even if the Jem AS is outclassed by other newer escorts thats not the point. They aren't the Attack Ship it's as simple as that. It's status its rarity.

    I know I have a Jem' Carrier and I'd give my eye teeth to get the Attack Ship but I don't have the cash. If I did i'd happily pay for one no problem.

    Why do you think millionaires spend millions on a rare old Ferrari. Because of that status and rarity. Modern Ferrari's have the performance and technology that's not the point.

    ^- this, sometimes you will see someone advertising in zone chat to sell one. It was only a few days ago I seen someone asking for 650mil for his JHAS, so the fact there isn't much on the exchange, any at all, prices will be steeppp.

    I think I sold mine for about 460-480 mill a while back. Got me a nice Wells and a stockpile of ec. :D

    Don't forget, there are people that are "getting around" the EC limit by stockpiling JH attack ships. Some guy offered 10+ of them in exchange for control of a high tier fleet.

    Starfleet Dental destroyed a lot of Jhas in this video last year - so I guess it's not that great.
