A light smile played across her lips as he spoke. She wasnt intimidated in the least, although she was certain intimidation wasnt this mans goal. He knew. More importantly, he wanted her to know he knew. It was an interesting tactic and made perfect sense that he should want to speak to her in private. It wasnt the fact he knew of her relationship with Drake. After all, many cadets worked with him at one time or another. It was that he didnt know how deeply that relationship was still.
Still, she thought to herself, he could very well be baiting me. Casting a line in hopes that I reveal some tidbit of information he suspects I have hidden away. Not that she was so naive as to fall for such a rouse. She calculated her available choices: denial or admittance. Neither was particularly attractive.
You think to surprise me, She said in an even tone, by mentioning Drake by name? He is well known in Starfleet, even in the Academy, and yes, I have met and spoken to him on several occasions. My entire class has, as have countless others before us. Forgive me if I do not balk at your revelations, Captain.
She would have to tread carefully, and she knew this. Despite this mans demeanour of authority the fact was, as he had admitted, he wanted her to assist him on some errand or mission. She knew that no matter what she said she would not be rid of him so easily; no one travels halfway across the quadrant and abducts someone from their home merely to offer them a job. If she pushed too hard she may find herself in the brig, or worse, in a uniform.
She stood and moved to the replicator on the wall. Cappuccino. Extra chocolate, she ordered. She took the drink as it materialized and reclaimed her seat, sipping from her cup. Youre really not that much of a diplomat, are you, Captain? How about we try this again, starting with what, exactly, it is you want of me?
William lauged. HIM a diplomat? The idea was so funny he couldn't contain a small chuckle, "No i am far from a diplomat but i DO know Romulans. I have even lived with one for a while," Will thought of T'rell again. T'rell was as close to family as anyone. "To tell you what i want, i must tell you why i am here." William went into telling her about a conversation we had with T'rell. In that conversation T'rell described a talk he held with D'tan. The two of them shared a begruding friendship in which they traded information which each other felt would help the other agaisnt the Tal Shiar. T'rell had said D'tan told him of a Tal Shiar agent who boldy beamed into his office. D'tan was made uneasy with the lack of difficulty the agent met in seeing him so D'tan spoke with T'rell. T'rell might be a pirate who had the chance to join the republic and declined, but D'tan knew he hated the TAl Shiar and thus could be trusted. T'rell passed this infomation to William knowing that the Tal Shiar would endanger the federation if they could gain an amount of power. We also told her about how Sela was working with the Tal Shiar, and thus working with the iconians, the same iconians who somehow convinced the undine to attack earth.
"The Tal Shiar are moving Aeil, they are working with or for the iconians and the undine are connected somehow, but they dont know WE, starfleet know it. The Sun Tzu is here to find out with their strength is. We are currently cloaked because i would rather people not know a Federation warship has just showed up. I would like you to aid me in finding out. Thats why i would like you to join my crew. A romulan would help being that we are dealing with the Tal Shiar, and youre a romulan who was...or IS...in starfleet. The only one i know of in fact," Will went to the wall for another cup of brown liquid and then returned to his seat, "As for my mentioning Drake, I was fishing, but you bit. If he didnt send you here, you wouldnt made such a point in trying to make me believe you didnt know him. i told you, I KNOW romulans. Drake might be a prick at times but he is no more my enemy than you are. When you speak to him, and i suspect it will be soon if he isnt listening in, He will confirm some of what i have told you. at that point, you, he, or the two of you may decide to aid me. When you do," William pause making sure that she knew he thought their goals to be similar to his, "Im willing to bet he would like to have an in system asset like the Sun Tzu just incase things get...complicated," He handed her a small pad, "On that pad you will find a gold channel frequency you can use to contact me. you will only be able you use it once to avoid others from detecting us. The pad transmits a single burst message of about 4 to five words. If thats all...." William allowed the last part to trail off for Aeil to add anything.
Stelam blinks at the light of the beaming. The girl had been taken, presumably by the one that was also gone. So, Stelam thinks, what should I do in this situation?. He quickly backs up, out of the door and onto the street. He then walks to his house, goes to his bedroom, and takes out his communicator. He activates it and contacts Gerrard.
"Gerrard." Stelam says.
"Yes Captain? Do you need to be rescued?" Gerrard asks inh is Vulcan way.
"No. I need you to connect to the probe we left in the mol'Rihan system and scan the orbit. Tell me what you find. Do a cloaking system sweep as well." Stelam orders.
"Yes sir." Gerrard replies. The line goes quiet for a while. Stelam taps his foot to keep from flipping.
"Okay," Gerrard says as he comes back online, " I found several Republic ships, cloaked and uncloaked. I also found several tra-"
"Any Fed ships?" Stelam interrupts.
"Yes. Two, one cloaked, the other not." Gerrard says.
"What's the one cloaked? If you can tell." Stelam aks.
"The U.S.S. Sun Tzu, if our database of cloak-capable Fed ships is correct." Gerrard replies.
"Elements. That database was a lucky haul. I'm glad we have it now." Stelam mutters.
"Is that all Captain?" Gerrard asks.
"Hmm. No. I want exact coordinates of where the bridge might be." Stelam says eventually.
"Captain, if you are planning a solo boarding, I must, as you first officer, advise you to ta-"
"Just give me the damn coordinates!" Stelam snaps at him.
"Sending them now." Gerrard says, after a long pause. "Please be careful Captain. It would be a sad day if we lost two of you inthe same month." he adds.
"You know me Gerrard. I can handle myself." Stelam says quietly. "I might not even need them." he says confidently.
"I doubt that..." Gerrard mutters as the line is cut. On the screen is the coordinates.
Stelam grabs his personell shield, sword and disruptor before heading toward the only orbital transporter on the planet. He then sets in the coordinates.
He then wipes the coordinates. Why am I doing this? he asks himself. Is it because I'm worried for her? Sh's a stranger I've never met. Is it because I have some kind of inner moral concious that says it stops at females? No, I've killed my share, though I try not to kill anyone. Is it because she's my race? No, I've killed a few Romulans, mostly Tal'Shiar. He tries ti think of the reason, then gets it. Because it's wrong to be dragged out of your home like that! He then shakes his head. Nope. Not it either. Spur of the moment? Eh, it's probably hormones or something left over from puberty. He stands, gets his stuff, and goes home. Or tries to. There is a Republic offcer standing there with his disruptor out and pointing at him.
"Put your hands up and turn around!" the officer says.
Stelam backs up onto the pad, next to the inside control panel. "Okay, okay. I'm doing it." he says as he puts his hands up. And his elbow accidently hits the transport lever and off he goes. Apparently, I didn't wipe the coordinates... he thinks to himself.
He is beamed behind Aiel's chair, with his hands still up, and no idea where he is. He looms around.
"Not exactly the bridge, Gerrard." he mutter and turns around. He sees Aiel and the extremely stern looking Starfleet offficer, and immediately scans them for weapons. Seeing none he sighs and shrugs.
"Jolan'tru. Can we put this down as an accident?" he says with a hopeful smile.
William tapped a few buttons on his desk and a level 3 force field surrounded the intruder. He then stood angered by the new arrival, "Friend of yours?" He asked Aiel as security officers enter his ready room.

She sat, taking it all in. Interesting, she thought to herself, we seem to be seeking similar details. Perhaps this isnt misfortune at all, but an opportunity.
I am intrigued, Captain. Of this I will not lie. I have no love for the Tal Shiar or the self-proclaimed Empress than any other but I did not come here to search for them. I came here to work. To rebuild a homeworld for my people. However, She finished her coffee and sat the cup aside, if the Tal Shiar are genuinely here then I can assume they wish to control DTan. Should they succeed, I sincerely doubt anyone would consider that in the best interests of this world. On that note, I shall help you, but only under the following conditions. First, I am not, nor shall I be, a part of your crew nor you my superior officer. Secondly, I shall not wear a uniform of Starfleet. Thirdly,
"Not exactly the bridge, Gerrard." he mutter and turns around. He sees Aiel and the extremely stern looking Starfleet offficer, and immediately scans them for weapons. Seeing none he sighs and shrugs.

She shook her head at the sight of this Romulan, the one whom she had seen on the surface.
Thirdly, I strongly suggest you place this dha'rudh in the brig or beam him into the void! I dont care which!
[OOC]You just like to stir up as much trouble as you can, dont you? LOL[/OOC]
"Personally i am partial to the void. But i think Brig will do. At least until i can meet with my friend. Perhaps youve heard of him. T'rell Ravon of the Star Raptor Pirates." William said as he eyed the new romulan, looking for a reaction to dropping his friends name, "As for your conditions, i must know... What is it you have against Starfleet? What made you leave?" William asked as he moved toward ti door headed for the bridge.
Standing in the house, Jacob now thought to himself, "Well, he's going to have a hell of a time with her." Tapping his com badge he instructed his crew, "Team Alpha, come to my coordinates. We have Nathan, but I need to stay here for a while, you'll have to take him back to the house."
Once they had arrived and done this, Jacob looked around the room lose arching for where to start. He finally decided on the replicator. Jacob walked over and programmed a few more food patterns in, including several of the ones he had read from her report as her personal favorites. He then left a pile of credits on the table so she could use these new patterns. Finally, the step that took him the longest, he purchased a new lock and installed it in the door. After this, he placed a neutronium lock panel over it, and layered the door with a titanium alloy. When this was all finished, he went to her computer and left her this message:
"Sorry about the intrusion into your house. I have increased your replicator abilities, left you some credits, and repaired and strengthened your door and lock in order to try to make this up for you. You didn't seem to catch my hint earlier, so I will be blunt. We work for the same person. I do not know what he wants you to do here, but I do know that you didn't just run away. However, I know that whatever you are doing must be important, so I will try to not interfere any longer."
With the message recorded, Jacob encrypted it with Aiel's DNA and Handprint, and added several safety interlocks that would wipe the data if it was TRIBBLE, and then left, heading back to question Nathan.
OoC: I didn't want to edit my last post in fear of confusion.
Nathan woke up slumped in the corner of a human district common room. Looking around at his captors, he only saw faces he didn't recognize. "So," he thought, drawing on his knowledge of Jacob "Jacob is either hiding somewhere, our is repairing the damages I caused."
One of the captors came into the room with food. She was a young human female, perhaps in her mid twenties, and she was wearing the basic wardrobe of a Romulan survivor. This was a fact he had noticed on all of them, their disguises were almost exactly the same, except for Jacob's, which was slightly less worn, and more extravagant. Making a mental note of this, he started to eat.
(2 hours later)
Nathan woke up to the sound of the door opening and footsteps coming towards him. As Jacob walked into the room, Nathan smiled, only saying, "Well, you got me, too bad I'm not our computer core," before he bit on the secret signal transmitter in his tooth, activating it, and allowing him to be beamed back to his base by his crew.
(Jacobs perspective)
He had just walked into the room, and Nathan had already delivered a stupid one liner and escaped. Shouting at his crew, he said, "Didn't they tell you to put a transporter inhibitor up around every person you capture?!" and stormed into his room to write his report.
After he finished writing his report, he told everyone to go to bed, and he quickly fell asleep.
(Next day)
Jacob woke up the next day, and walked out into the common area. Only Erin had been awake before him, and he joined her at the breakfast table. Once everyone had joined him, he apologized to them for yelling the night before. They all gathered once they were done eating and he briefed them. "Today, we are heading to the caves to take out the computer, and hopefully capture Nathan again. He knows we are coming, so I want to give him as little time as possible to set up a defense. You all have 90 minutes to be ready and meet me at the caves, dismissed."
He watched as everyone went into their rooms, then he did the same. Gathering the supplies he thought he would need, he walked to the transporter pad in the staging area, and got ready to beam to the caves. Suspiciously, there were coordinates programmed into the console for outer space, and Jacob dropped a signal beacon on the pad and beamed it before stepping on himself and changing the coordinates to that of the cave.
OoC: William, there is now a signal beacon on your ship. Oh Noes!
Will was beside himself. Twice now something or someone had been able to beam something to his ship... His cloaked ship. Tapping his com badge he SPoke to an officer on his bridge, "I want you to re modulate the cloak, it has been compromised. Then randomize our orbit so our position is harder to find. Also, record the transmitting frequency of this beacon, trace it, and then beam a full recon team to the source," Will then looked to Aiel, who he was beginning to blame for his stealth breach, "unless our guess wished to explain things."
Jacob materialized next to the caves, and walked towards the entrance. He made sure to not get too close, and he got out of the line of sight of any of the entrances or known camera locations. He then activated his one way transmitter to signal his crew his coordinates. Soon, all four of the operatives were gathered at the cave entrance. Giving Erin and Kolez the signal to run in front of the entrance and distract the guard, he and T'Vrell sneaked behind the guards, and took them both out, stunning them and beaming them directly to the Competitor's brig. With the guards taken out, the group shot down the cameras and set to work cutting through the door lock.
(10 minutes later)
Due to the extensive anti-hacker measures on the lock, it took Jacob around ten minutes to finally open the door, when he did, a rain of automatic energy weapon fire flew out, but stopped a few seconds later. The guards inside then made the fatal mistake of coming out of the door, exposing their backs to the phasers of Jacob and his team. Once again, the stunned guards were beamed directly to the brig on the Competitor, and Jacob's team made their way inside.
(5 minutes later)
After five minutes of walking through the caves, Jacob made it to a large cavern. He was finally in the command center of the base. Luckily, there were no guards on this level of the structure. Jacob retrieved his bundled stun grenades, and instucted his team to do the same. Priming the devices, they were dropped down to the bottom floor of the cavern, going off and stunning everyone down there. Rappel lines were put into place, and the team slid down to the bottom floor. After quickly beaming everyone to the brig, including Nathan, Jacob TRIBBLE the computer, retrieving then wiping all of the data stored on the hardrive. He then took remote control of the Leviathan, shutting down the life support and warping the ship to federation space.
However, just when he finished doing this, he heard his PADD security system chime, "Intruders detected within your housing structure."

OOC: It was 3 am for me when I wrote that. Eh, better go with it.
Stelam grimaced and sheathed his weapons. But hit his communicator so that Gerrard can here the conversation and save him. He then cleard his throat.
"I would rather not be thrown into a Federation brig for a mere accident." he said.
"I truly have no idea what you mean by that, Captain." Gerrard said obviously.
"Elements! You have no idea how to take a hint do you Gerrard?!" Stelam exclaimed.

"Where's the damn logic you people pride yourself on? I mean really!" Stelam yelled again.
"It's 3 am on the ship sir. I just woke up, and my mind has not yet been prepared for extravagant thinking." Gerrard said, with as much venom a Vulcan can muster
"Damnit. Just come save me." Stelam said, putting his hand to his face.
"It is a good thing that I warped the ship in an hour ago, then." Gerrard said, matter-of-factly.
"Under Republic sigs?" Stelam said incredulously.
"Yes sir. Before we save you, perhaps Captain Deveros, of the U.S.S. Sun Tzu, would like to beam you over to us? We would be glad to provide... compensation..." Gerrard said.

OoC: You do know my character doesn't command the Sun Tzu, William does .
William thought about his options. Decloaking wasnt too bad an idea, but doing so meant everyone would see the Sun Tzu. William Deveros preferred doing his work in the shadows. Not because he was doing things he shouldnt, be because working in the shadow meant people left you the hell alone...usually. He could remain cloaked but seeing how two people have been able to find a cloaked ship... allowing things to remain as they were seemed foolish.
"Security, Beam this uninvited guest to the brig. I will deal with him later." Will then turned his attention to Aiel as the intruder disappeared in a blue light, "Well miss, i would like to conclude our business for the moment. It appears our cloak has been compromised and i would like to fall back so to speak. I will be leaving system." Will lied. He had no intention of leaving. But he was going to jump the ship to just outside of the system. "I find your dislike for Starfleet strange. It doesnt fit the situation. In fact there is little youve told me that does. THAT leads me to believe there IS something going on here, and considering you have begrudgingly agreed to help i think youre as much in the dark about the goings on here as i am. The thing is, i may not have to be your CO, but this is my ship. if we are on it i will need you to follow my orders after all, my ship could be at stake. Secondly, if you were to walk through that door," Will pointed to the door heading to the bridge, "You will find not all of my officers are in uniform. While i demand mental discipline, it need not be followed outwardly. As i said, i am allowed curtain liberties. The starfleet higher ups may dislike the way i do things but they understand one thing. I get results, and that is what is important when you stand between peace and the raging wind." Will then stopped to gather his thoughts, "If that is all, and you have no questions, i really must insist on your beaming back down to the surface. As i said, i plan to jump out of system for a while. There seems to be too many people here able to dectect a cloaked warship. "

Stelam finds himself in a Federation brig. Again. He hadn't been in one since... when was it? Oh, right. When that damn Admiral captured him on Virinat and accused him and Captain Hylian of destroying it. That one had been an idiot. Know then time to think of a way out. Then the brig shield came down, and two armed officers came in to de-arm him. Perfect. he thinks with a smile.
"Please hand over your weapons and personal affects, and no harm will come to." Idiot One says.
"Come on, Romie. Just do it." says Idiot Two.
Stelam smiles and raises his hands. Idiot one comes over to take his sword and disruptor, and Idiot Two covers him. When Idiot One reaches, Stelam grabs his hand, twists his arm behind him, and uses him as a human shield. When Idiot Two's reflexes kicks in, he fires a stun shot at his comrade. Stelam throws the unconcious Idiot One at Idiot Two. When Idiot Two recovers, Stelam points the phaser he took from Idiot One at him and stuns him. He walks out and locks them in the brig after taking Idiot One's commbadge. He then proceeds to go next to the door and contact Gerrard.
"Gerrard, do we have schematics on the Sun Tzu?" Stelam asks.
"Only the basics, like what they give to children." Gerrard replies.
"Do they tell you how to get to the shuttlebay from the brig?" Stelam asks.
"Yes sir." Gerrard says.
"Then track my signal, and feed me directions. I'm right infront of the brig door, to be specific." Stelam says.
"Okay Captain. Doing it now." Gerrard says.
Stelam walks out of the Brig and into the hallway.

"Sh*t," Jacob thought, "Someone must have traced back the tracking beacon and beamed down to investigate."
Out loud he said, "Everyone, we are heading back to the surface to initiate an emergency beam out straight back to our housing structure. I want triple time back to the surface." Running, the team made it back up to the surface in less than 3 minutes. However, once they arrived, they found they had more troubles, the automated turret defenses of the base had turned back on, and a transported jammer was blocking the signal from the emergency transporter the team carried.
"Kolez, cover Erin while she goes to take out that jammer, T'Vrell, you and I need to work on disabling the turrets while the work.
(12 minutes later)
After 12 minutes of a crossfire, the team managed to take out the jammer and turrets, clearing the way for the beam back. Crouching down and setting their phasers to stun and overcharging their personal shield capacitors, the team prepared themselves for whatever they may find when they arrived back at the base. Jacob gave the countdown, and each member hit the transporter on their right shoulder, beaming back to the base.

"Okay Captain. Doing it now." Gerrard says.
Stelam walks out of the Brig and into the hallway.
"Captain he escaped." An officer reported.
"Bloody Hell. Who is that guy and why cant he sit still? He acts as though i was serious about that whole void comment. Beam him back into the brig. erect a level 9 containment field around the brig. Deactivate any weapons mid beaming and for the love of god do not open the force field until i get there."
"Sir. One more thing. We have traced a signal from the prisoner."
"Jam it and take us to the source. What had we stumbled into...." Will then turned to Aiel, "What the hell is going on? I need to know what you know."
The heat was getting hot but that was to be expected when diving into an atmosphere with a runabout. The shuttle flew more than flew the the away team's position. The away team had been able to search the area, gain intel, and was waiting for beamout...until the Sun Tzu had changed it orbit and was out of range. The runabout came to a hover above a group of armed people surrounding the away team's location. As the shuttle hover covers on the bottom slide open and chainguns lowered and began tracking targets.

Stelam was in the brig again. Elements, this guy is good...
"Sir. You seem to be suddenly moving tword us at an accelerated rate." Gerrard says.
All he receives is static. The line is jammed.
"Well, warp us out Delea." Gerrard says.
"Sir, what abou-"
"The Captain would want us to get away. Warp to New Haven.
"Yes sir." Delea says.
Gerrard looks roward the Sun Tzu. "Try to survive sir." Gerrard mutters
The War Hawk, a clearly enhanced T'Varo warbird, sheds the Republic sigs, and does the digital equivalent of raising the Jolly Roger. She then warps out at warp ten.
Stelam looks around. He takes off the communicator, throws it on the ground, and crushes it with his foot. He then sighs and gets comfortable.

When Jacob and his team materialized, they raised their weapons at the door, slowly walking towards it. However, just when they reached the door, Jacob heard the whine of a shuttle's engines, and the sound of a chain gun revving up. "Quickly, everyone get under cover!" Jacob shouted, pressing the button on his wrist. Suddenly, panels of pure neutronium on the wall slide out and provide overhangs for the team to hide under. Each member rolls under the overhang, and lay on their stomachs. Now hidden, Jacob signals his team to crawl under the overhang into the entrance to the bunker underneath the house.
Once inside the bunker, Jacob and his team make their way to the hidden entryway back into the main house. Opening it up, the team hides from anyone who may have been upstairs, and waits for them to come down. As an extra precaution, the team puts on an extra personal shield generator from their packs, doubling their shield strength, allowing them to stay alert if the intruders attempted to roll stun grenades down the stairs to clear the way.

As the runabout prepared to repel fire, none came. the pilot was confused. "We are tracked, followed, had our ship beamed to by god knows who and when we come investigating they hide like...people who hide..." We thought to himself not coming up with i witty comment, "thats why im not a comedian." He contacted the away team and found that they had found a few data rods and were ready to beam out. Getting the intel back to the ship was always more important. Let the captain figure things out. He beamed up the away team and readyed his favorite trick, the 'in atmosphere warp out'. In a moment his warp field was going to drag half that shack into space with him....
As he plotted his course he could see people running, Running FAST away from the building. They must of heard the warp drive spooling up. "No matter," the pilot thought to himself. "if there was anything they wanted in that shack, they are about to lose it." In a flash the runabout jumped to warp, dragging the building, some of the surrounding air, and even one of the men trying to escape away with it into space. There was a deafening crack as the air rushed in to fill the vacuum the runabout had left in its wake and a hypersonic boom signaling its departure. The pilot smiled to himself, "Good entries and Exits are my specialty."

When he heard the boom, he new that the shuttle had made a quick escape. Unfortunately for them, if their intent was to remove his house, they were foiled by the warp field distortment device surrounding the house. Top secret orginazations spared no expenses with security. Just to confuse them, Jacob also activated the holo emitters to fake the house being sucked along. Signaling his team to follow him, Jacob walked up the stairs. After checking the rooms and finding no one in any of them, Jacob hurried to the computer. Discovering that some data rods were missing, he underwent the standard Section 31 procedure and began the remote wipe of any data rods that had ever been in contact with this computer, save the few that he selected to retain information, specifically the ones he had beamed to his Ready Room on the Competitor. With the stolen data take care of, he also activated the remote self destruct feature on the stole data rods, which would automatically melt them if there was any attempt to retrieve data off of them. This would fry the computer of whatever was reading the rod and send out a tracking signal, allowing Jacob to find and personally interrogate whoever had the nerve to steal his data.
With all of the espionage business take care of, Jacob left his crew to clean up the damaged house, and went to explain everything to the Foreman and personally apologize.
Walking outside, Jacob could clearly see where the distortment field ended, as there was a huge ditch in a circle surrounding his house. Fortunately, none of the surrounding houses appeared damaged at all.
Jacob started walking towards the staging area, but didn't get very far before he saw Kylor speeding towards him. "What the hell happened over here!" Jacob heard the foreman screaming, "You, explain it all now!"
Jacob quickly and calmly responded, "We were investigating a traitor to Starfleet, who we have caught and now have in our custody, when our base of operations, this house here, was rudely intruded upon by what I believe to be other members of Starfleet. I am sorry for any inconveniences we may have caused. I will see to it that those involved with this intrusion will be punished, and My crew and I will work as hard and diligently as we can to fix any and all damages we can."
With that said, the foreman seemed placated, and walked back to the main staging area to welcome the growing line of arrivals.
Jacob turned around and joined his crew in repairing the house and retrieving the information off of the computer, which was, for some reason, not destroyed. When they were finished eight hours later, they signaled the ship, beamed up, and waited for someone to try to activate the data rods, so the Competitor could track them. Of course, Jacob explained everything that had happened over the past few days to the crew, excluding any Section 31 references, and then retired to the ready room.

OOC: Uhm. That warp was not possible. According to canon and the theroetical science of the warp drive, it would be suicide to do this. Now, I did go onto the Wiki Memory Alpha for this because I wanted to check. Turns out that's it's possible for a ship to warp in the upper atmosphere, but it is considered suicide to do this. Only considered because in all history of Star Trek, no idiot has tried to warp in lower atmosphere, where this hoise that Jacobs team was definately is. Now, you don't have to change it Chris, but I would suggest that you add that the pilot didn't make it, or was lost in some spacetime confusion.
Also, I hope your wife gets well soon Prierin, if anything was wrong other than the bite.
She followed him, still somewhat shocked by the sheer bizarre turn of events. This young Romulan was obviously more than a sheet nuisance and she was determined, one way or another, to put some of her advanced interrogation techniques to the test. Something Drake had seen to her learning; a little Obsidian Order and Tal Shiar persuasion capable of convincing even the sturdiest of Cardassians to talk eventually. It was a long process, and one she was careful not to get too much pleasure out of, but highly effective.
My reasons are my own, Captain. She said to him as they walked, adding But suffice to it say I simply do not agree with Starfleets Prime Directive. If you are in a position to provide aid to a people, even a primitive one, then you have an obligation to do it, not allow them to waste into extinction because of a deranged sense of moral superiority.
If you are implying that I had anything to do with any of this, let me remind you that it was you, not I, who beamed us to your ship. Federation scientists have never been quite able to grasp the concept of cloak technology. It isnt enough that you hide your ship, she said, you must run on complete silence and cover your scent as well. Even the Klingons know this; cover your tachyon radiation signature with a theron radiation pulse. It will make your presence appear as nothing more than a shadow. She looked to him with a raised eyebrow, I could instruct your engineers if you like.
Believe what you wish. I am merely your guest here. She watched the young Romulan as he disappeared in a haze of familiar blue light. Id like to talk to him before I am transported back to the surface, Captain. After which, he is yours to do with as you please. She looked to him, With your permission, of course. And if you are considering leaving the system, she added Consider holding back on decloaking until you are on the dark side of one of the moons. You should be able to escape detection far easier than revealing yourself in orbit. Not that really matters She looked to him with a smile, Cloaking technology is and always has been a Romulan device. Do you honestly think in the centuries weve used it we havent come up with a means of detecting its use by now?

While IRL this maybe true due to obvious physics, i direct you to the scene of Star Trek 4. After the whales have been beamed up, the Bird of prey comes from behind a cloud and goes to warp, within earth atmosphere, and shows a ship, on screen and thus canon, going to warp in an atmosphere. While my described effects may have been dramatic, the ship itself, and those on board, as shown in the movie, would be unharmed.

"I have already told you, Captain, I will assist you where I can, but I will not join your crew. It's nothing personal, it's just that I was never really good at taking orders, as I am sure you are aware. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you." "Ah well," Will sounded disappointed, "I had to try. Perhaps the next romulan i come acress with join," Will joked, "My personal cook makes Osol twist which are to die for. I will had the items you require brought to you shortly. If you will excuse me there is something i must attend to before joining you for our meeting in the brig. I will see you there."
Will took his leave of her and headed of the shuttle bay. He arrived as the extraction runabout was returning. The away team reported that they recovered some data rods but they were heavily encrypted. During their departure, they detected Federation holographic signatures. Things seemed to be getting more and more strange. What were the odds of a second covert starfleet team here on new romulus with an ex romulan star fleet officer who appeared to be keeping secrets. Will didnt think she would give any up, but she DID have them. The good thing is, she didnt appear to be working against him. That meant that it was mostly likely that she couldnt tell, not wouldnt tell. It seems he would have to make a few calls and call in a favor or two. On Will's way to the brig he held a brief conversation with D'tan's aid.
"-i know he is busy. Just tell D'tan Deveros would like to speak with him." Will was saying as he nodded to an officer about the enter the turbolift. The officer understood his captain and waited for the next lift, leaving his captain alone with his conversation.
"He asked me not to be disturbed." D'tan's aid was saying.
"Look. I have some rather urgent business i need to discuss. i will be brief but i must speak with him. Im the one who helped out with the Tholian problem you had not too long ago."
"Dev? That you?" D'tan's voice asked, sound far from the com.
"Yea, it good to hear from you."
"I didnt know the Sun Tzu was in system. We have detected what could have been a cloaked starfleet ship but i did not know it was you."
"Funny...everyone has picked us up...I am going to have to look into that. Look, i need a favor."
"Well i make no promises but i will see what i can do."
"I need you to see if you have any operatives by the named Aiel. If you do, we might be working the same case and i might have to get official here."
"William Deveros official?" D'tan laughed, "never thought i would see the day. I will make some questions but i dont think we have anyone here working a case."
"I have sent a message to Drake. It appears there could be three teams here all working different parts of the same case. I am waiting for him to get back to me..."
"Well i will look into it and get back to you. Least i have do for you help with the inconian gate we found here."
"It was good seeing you."
"Likewise. Jolan tru."
As Will finished his conversation, he came to the correct deck. Will exited and rounded a connor which brought him to the brig. "Sir an officer said as she almost bumped into him, I brought the items you ordered and," She looked back shaken, "And there is a romulan in there. A mean looking one."
"Who her? She's a kitten." Will joked back. Casual joking and conversation was how Will related to his crew. He wasnt the stern type. He treated his crew like friends and family. He trusted them and in turn, they trusted him.
"If you say so sir, but if i were you, i would be careful with that one."
Will entered the brig and looked to the man in the cell. He walked up to the forcefield and peered inside. "Ok sparky. Tell me what i want to know or i give those," Will pointed to the requested tools, "...to HER," Will nodded toward Aiel, "along with YOU. Then im just going to sit back and watch her work." Will then turned to address Aiel, "I have a question before you begin. You suggested we remain cloaked but this guy, and whoever he is working with was able to detect my cloaked ship. So were your people, now that i think about it...and the republic could detect us too. Thats too many people for my liking. So if all of you guys can see us, why stay cloaked when all of you can see us. If you can see us, they people we truly should be hiding from can as well..."
In his ready room, Jacob started to write his report on the mission. In it, he let Drake know that the mission was a success, but he was staying in the New Romulus system to deal with an extremely nosy Starfleet officer who had taken a few of Jacob's data rods. The report also mentioned the wipe of those rods and the self destruct feature that was rigged up, which would allow Jacob to find the ship as soon as they were activated. Jacob sent the report, and leaned back in his chair.
After stretching out, Jacob leaned forward again, and resumed his scans of the system, looking for anything suspicious. He would continue this task until he picked up the data rods' signals, when he would then head to the point of origin and confront the idiot who interfered with his mission. Jacob thought, "He's lucky he didn't completely jeopardize it, or I would be going to a lot more lengths to find him."

Thirdly,
She shook her head at the sight of this Romulan, the one whom she had seen on the surface.
Thirdly, I strongly suggest you place this dha'rudh in the brig or beam him into the void! I dont care which!
[OOC]You just like to stir up as much trouble as you can, dont you? LOL[/OOC]
Oh Noes!
"Sir, seeming a-
"Where's the damn logic you people pride yourself on?
OOC: ****! I knew I shouldn't have written just after I woke up! There, I fixed it.
OoC: I am sorry to hear that. I hope she is okay and will get better soon.
[OOC]Agreed not to be too much a stickyfinger, but warp flight within a planetary atmos is both suicidal and homicidal. Even if the ship survived, the planets atmosphere would be torn to shreds..
Shes fine, I guess in the hospital overnight as infection has set in. Only a domestic feral cat but tore her arm open lightning fast. Now, hopefully I am caught up for the most part lol[/OOC]
OOC:
While IRL this maybe true due to obvious physics, i direct you to the scene of Star Trek 4. After the whales have been beamed up, the Bird of prey comes from behind a cloud and goes to warp, within earth atmosphere, and shows a ship, on screen and thus canon, going to warp in an atmosphere. While my described effects may have been dramatic, the ship itself, and those on board, as shown in the movie, would be unharmed.
The scene in question may be seen here Skip to 3:30.
IC:
You know, its funny you say that. I happen to agree with you completely. If i had it my way, i would," A sly look crossed Will's face, "and have aided when according to the prime directive i shouldnt have. I play by the book my friend, just not always THEIR book." Will laughed then added, "Keep that between us." Will considered the fact that perhaps he wasnt as good at communication as he thought he was. Then again, he was admittedly not a diplomat. "I am not impling that youve had anything to do with this, but what i am impling is that you know something about this situation and perhaps more than i. It is THAT information i am requesting." "Now see," Will's tone took a more friendly tone, an almost joking one, "That is exactly why i need a great romulan officer on my crew! Are you sure you wont reconsider? We could come to some arrangement i am sure, one which would benifit both of us yes? As for my prisoner, In a show of good faith and shareing of information, you may get what even information from him, however you like. In fact," Will gave her a wink, "I am sure that my brig has been experiencing surveillance problems. Problems that prevent recordings... Its something ive been meaning to get fixed but with so little time..." Will let the sentence trail off. "I will of course but forced to watch any questioning, Because of our malfunctions."
OOC: see link at top. A Klingon B'rel class Bird of prey, a ship larger than a runabout and thus would have more atmospheric drag, was not only able to go to warp after moving though and or from behind a cloud, but did so without damaging itself or the atmosphere. Also, considering this is from a star trek movie, namely ST:IV, it is an on screen, canon source of a ship going to warp in Atmo.
"I have already told you, Captain, I will assist you where I can, but I will not join your crew. It's nothing personal, it's just that I was never really good at taking orders, as I am sure you are aware. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you." She walks a few steps in silence, considering what she will say next. "I have no information to share with you regarding any Tal Shiar presence on Mol'Rihan as I have barely arrived myself and have yet to see anything other than a few pieces of art and the inside of your ship.
She hoped he would accept what she was saying, primarily as it was true. Further, she couldn't possibly join a Federation crew. Not without compromising her own mission. Elements be praised that their paths, hers and this Captain's, were running parallel at the moment, but if she were to attach herself to his ship and crew and those paths suddenly diverged, she feared that her desertion would not be met with kindly.
"As for the interrogation, this is your ship and he is your prisoner. It would be rude of me to ask for you not to be present. Depending on his willingness to share what information he has this may simply be a pleasant chat. If not, however, there may be a few things I will require from both your engineering and medical bay."
[OOC]Re: atmops-warp. Ya, I disagreed with that in the movie, as well but it's there, so canon is canon. I retract my earlier statement. [/OOC]
"Ah well," Will sounded disappointed, "I had to try.
