Another bug with the kit revamp that I hadn't really noticed till now.
When you look at most of the fabrication modules that produce pets (mortar, seeker drone, shield generator), if you look at the Common (white) ones, the tooltip indicates that it will create a "Level 0 Quantum Mortar" instead of a "Level 35 Quantum Mortar I".
If you look at the Uncommon (green) and Rare (blue) ones, they show correctly.
Also note that the damage (or healing) listed in the tooltip is also much lower than it should be and is in fact lower than common or rare ones of a much lower Mk number.
In addition, being Level 0, they have much fewer hit points than they should, which means they get destroyed almost instantly by any enemy fire.
This applies to random drops as well as vendor-purchased ones.
I haven't examined any tactical or science modules, but I can't think of any off-hand that produce pets.
Yup, I ran into this as well. Couldn't figure out why my shield generators were getting destroyed even before I'd finished putting them up, but turns out they're all level 0 with piddling HP.
