So it's the 2nd day in a row that while I am on Deep Space K7 doing my stuff, checking the exchange , bank and so forth ... I get hit once and again by this kind of orange nebula which lowers my health , holds me and slows my movements and, of course, which is most irritating, since automatically my toon goes red alert, interrupts what I am doing, be it exchange trading or just items swapping.
Checking the combat log, I have read it's an ability called active immunity field , probably an undine rep ability which I don't know much about it.
At least the funny disco balls don't do that.
I guess some dev should take a look over this.
As a user of this ability, it sometimes remains active when leaving missions, I come out of an STF with DoT active on me and all of a sudden Active Immunity Field starts attacking other players.
It would be nice to have this bug fixed, but it isn't the worst one out there.
Actually, I've noticed the Active Immunity 'plague' effect jumping back and infecting the team from enemy targets during Borg STFs and Defera, including myself when I instigated it. I have noticed this with both the science and tactical abilities; I haven't tested it with the engineering one.
Thanks for the heads-up on infecting people in social zones, though - I didn't know it could do that. No more pretty trails around ESD for me until this gets fixed.
Edit: The Borg in question weren't under any confuse effect, either (so it isn't the same reason that the other 'plague' type skill - Nanoprobe Infestation - can sometimes jump back to allied players).
I've removed posts that have nothing to do with this bug.
