It seems to have to do with re-set time. It doesn't re-set properly for several minutes, so when the zone is busy it never has time to re-set. When entering a zone that is a little less busy then your chances of getting an unbugged city is much better. Seems like it would be an easy fix but it never gets attention.

Just funny the only bugs they fixed with Defera lately are the Borg that was behind the invisible wall at one of the Probe sites and the Temple Easy mission so it didn't give credit to everyone in the zone. :rolleyes:
But like others have mentioned, they never even bothered fixing the king of all bugged missions - the Defera City Hard mission.
Then there are other Defera bugs. Like the Power Plant Medium with the Rescue, where most of them don't even work. And in them stealth "fixing" the Temple Easy mission, they broke the turrets where only 40% of them actually work, so if you wanted to complete the mission you had to wait 15 minutes or change instances.
IMHO, the entire zone needs an overhaul, especially making Mediums cost effective since they take too long to complete, but they are needed now that nobody is doing the Fleet PvE queues anymore (havn't been in a queue for months on the KDF it's been so dead).

Turning it into another ground battle zone would probably be the best idea, say a dozen capture points around the map, with one zone in the middle where one big fugly and seriously op borg spawns after the other zones are captured, rewards would be marks, some dil and the odd BNP from killing big ugly.

You know it's not the same so let people complain it's what the forums are for, and they deserve an answer since this is a product, this isn't a hobbie someone dreamed up, people paid to play this some have lifer membership since the first beta and it's time we got some real answers.

Sorry, I disagree. I for one am tired of battlezones with their overused Capture and Hold points. I prefer the open-world mission zones.
And I can't speak for everyone that goes to Defera, but I'm pretty sure the majority like it is now since it's the only place in STO that you can quietly grind for Fleet Marks without depending on the stupid queues, which are dead.
