Reman Tac must respec to use rep powers

look at the image i've provided and you see "soldier" trait that i cannot remove and i believe is blocking me from using the right amount of trait powers and is also the reason its asking me to respec my skills.

    I can confirm bug. My Reman Tactical is also getting a message having to respect to access reputation powers.

    This happened to me too. I had to go through a full respec to open up the powers, luckily it was free. However it was bloody annoying.

    ok fine a respec clears it,but what if you have no respec tokens ?

    As I said it was free for me I even checked my zen amount after doing it, and it was the same as it was before.

    You will get free respec to do it.

    Any time you get a mandatory respec like that, it means something has gotten messed up in your character's code that requires a respec to fix it. In those cases, you are also given a free respec token.

    You sure? I saw no free respec token.

    When looking at the Rep, it says you must respec. You click it and can respec for free without having to travel to the respec guy where you would use a token. I didn't see a token, myself - but it was a free respec - done in the midst of space.

    It did go to the skill page, but saw no button or anything that allowed me to change specs on the fly.


    Just had to use one of my respec tokens. Thank you very much Cryptic. You mess things up and I have to use my money to fix your error. :mad:

    Given that it is seemingly only affecting Reman tac characters it sounds more like a little bo-bo your end. Could have to do ith the fix for the resilient trait?

    The respec button will be usable, all I did was click on it and it allowed me to respec.

    Given there is a reply here from a dev it might be an idea to open a ticket and ask for a refund of the token.

    Already done.

    It's Cryptic's fault in not putting a note in the Patch Notes saying Reman players was offered a free respec. And the free respec should've been more obvious. I'm not the only other Reman owner that had this same problem.

    so i found the free respec button,bottom right of skill tree saying invalid skills next to it.
    beware on clicking it though as it insta wipes your skills before you get chance to take notes/take screenshot of your carefully done over time skill tree.....


    I agree with azurian,this should of been posted at the very least in the patch notes and preferably with one of those massive popups you get when entering Battlezone for the first time.

    What about those players that don't use these forums ?

    Although I'm not fond in the least about the changes they made to make the site more mobile friendly (which imho leaves the site looking like garbage on PC), it's still a decent site to work out/save your builds - to avoid situations such as you encountered here...

    Just got response for PWE CSR saying no refund.

    This is so bogus. Change people's characters, not giving proper notification of a free token and then we get hosed because we used our own token!? This is wrong.

    the forced resilient trait on my reman sci is gone but I still can't select rep traits without respeccing.
