New season but really this is just an extension of
this thread.
Nothing makes me wanna spend my money on STO like than Cryptic's refusal to even acknowledge this issue exists.
50 lobi wasted to look
like this
STO isn't canon, and neither are any of the books.

You should get used to these issues. There are everywhere.
Perhaps but considering its nothing more than a visual issue this is one of the things that should have been fixed quickly
There are thousands (literally) graphic glithes similar to this. Not so terrible, but they are there. Specially with fleet outfits.
And i agree that these sort of bugs should be fixed asap, but well you know how cryptic works. Lets hope a miracle occurs and they fix it.
Well they're going over launch things and fixing those so... only 4 more years to wait!
Now, doing Dyson Ground BZ's, and with S9 giving Armor visuals to Roms finally, I've created an "Armor" for her ... And when I swapped her from THAT, to her Lobi EV suit, it worked perfectly! ... No invisible legs!
So I'm gonnna check tonight and see if a)it has actually been fixed for me or b) IT only happens when you swap between certain outfits ...
Either way, this may be information that the (currently silent) Devs who I'm sure are reading these threads, needed to 'fix' the issue.
Im running around in the rom-fed uniform atm and since s9 Ive added a couple 'kit bits' but Ill try her tal shiar uniform and off duty to see as well

If she is wearing the Omega Armor, or one of the 'generic' tailor created armors, it works fine activating the EV suit.
I'll try again without the shoulder pads ... But it's either those or the skirt causing the issue.
I put it on and noticed no graphics glitches. Best 23k EC I have ever spent. I shoved my Solanae EV suit out the airlock.
Well I dont have the skirt so
Firstly, why would you bother paying EC for an EV suit? You get numerous free Purple ones from the Nukara Rep boxes ... Then too, when you do the mission to take back DS9, you get another free EV suit, that's actually pretty decent for a "white" ...
The thing is though, is that the Solanae Sentinel or Paladin EV suits, are actually pretty good "armours" as well as EV suits, probably better or if not the best all round EV/Armour suit currently in game ...
Now after a bit of experimenting at the tailor it looks like the KDF spine armor is what's causing my problem, remove it and the suit works fine, add it and the suit stops working, which is a major pain as that's part of her look in two of her outfits.
'Cuz I have not really progressed that far yet into the main story missions. KDF toon only finished the Wasteland story arc not that long ago.
I don't are if the Solanae EV Suit are "good armours". If half of my toon transparent, then why bother playing the game at all? It's not like the graphic glitch gives me any real tactical or strategic advantage. It is only an eyesore.
Like I said, best 23k ECs I have ever spent.
@bejaymac ok now thats odd my male "alien" in the KDF has spine armor but his lobi EVA suit worked fine last I checked.. Ill check him again now and see if thats borked up too now
Ok checked that last night his spine armor doesnt stop his Dyson EVA suit(lobi version) but 1)its a male char and female chars seem to be getting this issue more it seems? and 2)He isnt wearing typical Klingon uniform with the spine armor so maybe its a combination?
I have now confirmed (at least for me) that the Shoulder Pads are indeed the cause of the issue ... More precisely it seems to be Shoulder Pads with "Draperies"
First image is with the Vice Admiral Upper Half Shoulder Pads on (twin draperies) -> Switching to the EV suit causes the invisibility bug. Remove the Shoulder Pads entirely and it works fine.

To test though I also added first the 'Commander" variant of the Shoulder Pads (no draperies) and again the EV suit visuals worked fine ... However adding the "Captain" Shoulder Pads (1 'Drapery on the right shoulder) and the invisibility bug returns)

Hopefully someone from Cryptic is still reading this thread and can look at this and see if a cause/solution is workable.
I agree, but it would require:
1) A Dev to actually read the thread, and most importantly the last few pages.
2) That Cryptic actually care or could be bothered resolving, what, to them probably, is a minor cosmetic issue.
and this is a bug when i did DS9 quest out in space i wear a normal EV suit but it seems
i miss my head  and don't see my suit
i hope STO work on this but its still funny to look ad
If it could be useful, I'm 100% sure it's all the shoulder pads fault: made several attemps with various uniforms and I just need to remove them to have the suit perfectly appearing around my Tal'Exa. It's a pity because I found that pads a key factor for our struggling Romulan identity rebuilding... so I join all the others before me, please fix!
There are no options (it is 'greyed out') but you get the 4 colour picker boxes. For me the colour picker boxes, for the various parts of the Shoulder Pads/Drapes don't ever change colour themselves (always a 'black' icon') but you can still select and change the colours on the actual costume piece.
So it seems to be something in the coding or item selection that is not updating, or it is removing other parts of the armor, when you equip Shoulder Pads with a Drape/Drapes.
<sigh> Again though, we are waiting and hoping for a Dev to read, and actually act upon, this thread ... I'm not confident, sadly.
Apparently we must all be using PS to fake these screenshots ...
and still the issue isnt even addressed let alone fixed
Yeah, I keep coming back to this thread, I look at the number of posts, I look at the number of times it gets read, and I keep hoping for a Dev to respond or even Smirk to acknowledge the issue ... Then I check the Tribble Patch notes, hoping for a mention of it ... <sigh>
Honestly, i will not trust the tribble notes anyways. So many "fixes" that are not true after a million of tribble notes.. sadly this is happening since a long time ago. Not to mention, a lot of things bugged in the tribble server are launched anyways even if the players told cryptic not to. This is how it works, i dont think cryptic cares too much about fixing things or releasing em without bugs in first place. I really wish cryptic was more interested in keeping the quality of the game instead of breaking it. Should we give em any chance of redemption? lol. :P:(
Pesonnally, I've had it where only my head and feet show with EVA visuals turned on , but then i switch to a different uniform slot and sha-bang its all fixed which leads me to believe its the different uniform bits which are causing the problems with the EVA visuals and there are a lot of uniform bits now which could potentially cause this particular bug.
Umm ... If you read the last 2 or 3 pages, you will see that we HAVE, in fact, pretty much identified the problem, and YES, I at least, have even tried using different outfit slots, just in case it was restricted to "Outfit Slot 1" or "Outfit Slot 3" or some such silly thing, and as the previous pages show, we HAVE tried multiple different combinations of "bits".
The fact remains that Cryptic will not even acknowledge this bug, let alone "fix" it.
