that is that particular character's bio
I think it was Anna Sheridan he was thinking of. She got killed by the Shadows... sorta... The Shadows have the ability to use people as raw materials. Anna was basically turned into an automaton. Shadow-Anna was blown up when John Sheridan crashed a White Star into Z'ha'dum.

Which reminds me.... "Chaos is the engine powering life." - Shadows :D

"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush utterly his achievement and remove from all record his every trace of existence. From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."

The power behind a single word:
      Dead, dead, dead, dead....

Though I think Vir was the one Centauri who didn't need to see this, yet it is still an incredibly powerful moment.

Londo Mollari: Nightmares all of them, and Timov the worst of the lot.
Dr. Stephen Franklin: Ambassador Mollari do you mind if I make one personal observation.
Londo Mollari: No, not at all.
      Dr. Stephen Franklin: Stick it.
Londo Mollari: How odd, and I didn't even know *we* were married.

          Here's one of my favourites:

"The War. The humans, I think, knew they were doomed. Where another race would surrender to despair, the humans fought back with greater strength. They made the Minbari fight for every inch of space. In my life, I have never seen anything like it; They would weep, they would pray, they would say goodbye to their loved ones, and then throw themselves without fear or hesitation at the very face of death itself, never surrendering. No one who saw them fighting against the inevitable could help but be moved to tears by their courage. Their stubborn nobility. When they ran out of ships, they used guns, when they ran out guns they used knives and sticks and bare hands. They were magnificent. I only hope that when it is my time, I may die with half as much dignity as I saw in their eyes in the end. They did this for two years they never ran out of courage but in the end, they ran out of time. "

          one of my favorites

Londo Mollari: When I said my quarters were cold, I did not mean, 'Oh, I think it's a little chilly in here, perhaps I'll throw a blanket on the bed.' No, I said it was cold, as in 'Oh, my left arm has snapped off like an icicle and shattered on the floor!' This is highly inappropriate, Captain!
Sheridan: [smirking] You're right. There are several other parts of your body I'd much rather see snapped off.

          and

Zathras: But only Zathras have no one to talk to. No one manages poor Zathras, you see. So Zathras talks to dirt. Or to walls, or talks to ceilings. But dirt is closer. Dirt is used to everyone walking on it. Just like Zathras. But we have come to like it. It is our role. It is our destiny in the universe. So, you see, sometimes dirt has insects in it. And Zathras likes insects. Not so good for conversation, but much protein for diet. Hmmm, huh, huh, very good! - Zathras fix now. Come, this way.
The universe is driven by the complex interaction between three ingredients: matter, energy, and enlightened self-interest. G'Kar

One of my favorite Londo moments is in the episode where his quarters are infested with bugs....

"If either of you see a creature, about this big, tell me. I need to kill it before it develops language skills...."

Londo Mollari: But this - this, this, this is like being nibbled to death by... what are those Earth creatures called? Feathers, long bill, webbed feet... go 'quack'...

          Vir Cotto: Cats.

Londo Mollari: Cats. Being nibbled to death by cats.

Lord Refa: Why should I do as you say?

Londo Mollari: Because I have asked you; because your sense of duty to our people should override any personal ambition; and because I have poisoned your drink.

G'Kar: No dictator, no invader, can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against that power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Mr. Morden: What do YOU want?

Vir Cotto: I'd like to live just long enough to be there when they cut off your head and stick it on a pike as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come with too high a price. I want to look up into your lifeless eyes and wave like this.

          [waves]

Vir Cotto: Can you and your associates arrange that for me, Mr. Morden?

1: Who is there, my friend, can climb to the sky?
Only the gods dwell forever in sunlight.
As for man, his days are numbered,
whatever he may do, it is but wind.

2: The life that you seek you never will find:
          when the gods created mankind,
          death they dispensed to mankind,
          life they kept for themselves.

3: The skies roared with thunder and the earth heaved,
Then came darkness and a stillness like death.
          Lightening smashed the ground and fires blazed out;
          Death flooded from the skies.
When the heat died and the fires went out,
The plains had turned to ash.

          4: Enkidu opened his mouth,
          saying to Gilgamesh:
"where you've set your mind begin the journey,
let your heart have no fear, keep your eyes on me!"

5: O Mighty King, remember now that only gods stay in eternal watch.
Humans come then go, that is the way fate decreed on the Tablets of Destiny.
So someday you will depart, but till that distant day Sing, and dance.
Eat your fill of warm cooked food and cool jugs of beer.
Cherish the children your love gave life.
Bathe away life's dirt in warm drawn waters.
Pass the time in joy with your chosen wife.
On the Tablets of Destiny it is decreed For you to enjoy short pleasures for your short days.

          Talia: "I'll take the stairs..."

Sinclair: "...I think i'll join you!"

*Sheridan wakes Ivanova in the middle of the night and starts rambling about his latest anti-propaganda crazy-scheme.*

Sheridan: They may have Earth believing their garbage, but we have the truth! You can't kill the truth!

Actually, you can kill the truth, but it always comes back to haunt you.

          Ivanova: Hello?!

Sheridan: Come on! I'll show you!

Ivanova: John! Don't you think I should get changed first?

Sheridan: Oh, yeah, yeah. Sorry, I... didn't even notice.

          Ivanova: Well that's...

Hold on, what do you mean you didn't even notice? I mean, granted, I have no interest in you, you have no interest in me, but if you're going to barge in here in the middle of the night, the least you could say is, "Nice outfit, Ivanova!" and then go on as tear!

          Sheridan *nodding*: Nice outfit Ivanova.

Ivanova *muttering as she goes to get changed*: You are... Men. It's always the same...

          ***

There are so many great scenes between those two. Such as:

Ivanova: Captain, for the record; you snore.

          Sheridan: I do not!

Ivanova: Captain, either you snore or last night we had one hell of a breach in the hull!

i always put g'kar and londo in league with quark and odo, two mismatched enemies if you will becoming good friends even if neither are willing to admit it to each other until "the sound of her voice" on ds9 and "the very long night of Londo Mollari" on b5.
