When muting someone, it often does not funtion at all when a public channel has over 100 members in it. Just today a certain group of players were somehow able to throw off their channel mutes.
The mute would take, but they were able to throw it off somehow and continue trolling the channel.

They were also able to mute members within the channel without having any opperator access. Even going so far as to be able to Mute the ONLY Opperator online at the time.

Most normal people wouldnt bother to go to such extent to harass a channel in such a way but this particular fleet prides themselves on being able to do it.

I'll not name them because that gives a warning, but everyone knows who they are anyway.
The people who hijacked the Public Service channel in the same exact manner.

Please address this issue, going 'Private' or ignoring the players works to an extent, but if a channel intends to stay public to provide a service and amicable enviroment for its members then this is not helpful.
Also submitting GM reports on the offending players does not seem to have any effect.

I fear there is a GM in game who is abusing their powers.
Its also possible they're using the third party software that allows people to chat in game without being logged into the client.

This is just speculation, but the problem is very real. Continued harassment should not be condoned by PWE or Cryptic, as it is Illegal and carries some very harsh punishments in some areas of the world.

Please address this problem.

Sincerely,
Members of TheTradingChannel, PublicService and Diligram.
