Romulon Rep tree needs a ground set

Ok maybe "Needs" is a bit strong a term here but the Romulons are a faction in the game now and both the federation and the klingons have there own ground sets in the Omega Task force tree so i honestly dont see a reason not to have a more Stealth orientated ground set for the romulons or even a Reeman shock troop ground set as well.

I don't suppose those guys making all the lock box sets could take some time out of there busy schedule to just do a single set for the Romulons and Reemans?.

Please? ^_^

what do you guys think?

    I wholeheartedly support this!!!

Rom/reman sets in the rom rep would be fantastic!!! and I would also love a rom set in the omega rep...what self respecting romulan would wear klingon or fed armor? Yes I know you can turn the visuals off but that isn't the point.

Actually, what they could easily do is a "Reman" ground set ... They already have Elite Reman Soldiers in game, with some pretty cool looking "AC" type type outfits (look in the "Frozen' mission)

Why we need both a Romulan AND Reman space set is beyond me, and I don't think anyone runs the Reman Space Set. Not counting 'noobs' who get and use the Reman Shield, simply because it's the best 'Free" shield at that level, and .. "Oh look, kewl glowy hexagons on muh shipz"

So I'd say drop the Reman Space set as a new project, and bring on a Reman Guard Elite" ground set.

Or a 'Praetorian Guard" set using a combination of Romulan and Tal Shiar outfits wouldn't be to difficult.

Als ... It's all just a pipe dream, and Cryptic will nver do any of it.
Oh, hoho hohhhhh, Oh,, hoho, hohhhhh

Would love to see the Reman rifles/pistols from Nemesis make it in-game.

and the omega store is the only store without space weapons...another glaring issue that needs immediate correcting
Like special weapons from other Star Trek games? Wondering if they can be replicated in STO even a little bit? Check this out: https://forum.arcgames.com/startrekonline/discussion/1262277/a-mostly-comprehensive-guide-to-star-trek-videogame-special-weapons-and-their-sto-equivalents

I think the reason the romulan rep doesnt have a ground set yet is because there are no special enemies you face. Omega, Nukera, Voth, and now Undine rep ground sets are all geared to give you an advantage against their own types. Romulans don't, as of yet.

Elachi, sure, but they are not a prominent force, only coming in for a few missions.

Don't take offense on this, but the Elachi are completely irrelevant in this game. Only the RRW subfaction has missions involving them and even then, not as much because you're mostly dealing with Tal Shiar the majority of the time.

Outside of the Elachi? The Feds and Klingons don't really deal with them. Sure, there maybe that 1 or 2 places in the game where you do... I think... but it's forgettable (if they even exist at all in this point of STO).

The Elachi don't even need specialist equipment to fight them. Cryptic spent so much time making the Elachi for the LOR RRW campaign but they're rarely seen in the game and the threat they are to the players is inconsequential. They are has-beens and worse than Yesterday's News, which are the Voth.

elachi are fought in abundance on rh'lhho station, and as that's one of the few PvE missions that pay decent romulan marks (especially since it has no CD), gear specialized towards fighting the annoying sons of TRIBBLE as you level romulan rep would be very much appreciated

or at least something to help deal with those damn noxious drones, since neither feds nor kdf can get rebreathers and no one in their right mind would be fighting them in an EV suit

and the omega store is the only store without space weapons...another glaring issue that needs immediate correcting

i only noticed this recently as i was doing the omega rep tree up for the armor when i kept getting absalutely nothing but antiproton weaponry from the rep boxes and then checking the store and found all the omega store space weapons space equipment space weapons and space ground equipment as well as all the other ground weapons ( disruptor, plasma, tetryon, poloron phaser) had dissapeared... i mean what the hell?

also i do use the reeman space set myself.
